Love the plants and atmosphere, but it’s quite warm in the restaurant. We ordered 2 udons (chicken and spicy beef) and a teriyaki chicken rice bowl, and genuinely have never eaten such dry and tough and overcooked chicken before in our lives.
Also, there is absolutely no service — you order at the counter, pick up your own food and cutlery, then put your own dishes away.
Maybe the sushis are better and we ordered the wrong dishes, but we were very disappointed given the raving reviews.

This is a great find in LA. The food was great. The avocado rolls were yummy as well as the BBQ catfish. Eclectic decor made for a unique dining experience. Looking forward to going back when in the area again.

Beautifully set up place. Good vegan options. 2 of us shared a platter and a cherry tomatoes and garlic appetizer.
The cookies were good too. The green tea cookie was really tea forward,. I enjoyed it but not everyone who tasted it did 🙂

I live out-of-state and was looking forward to trying this place out during my visit to DTLA. Exactly what I hoped for, everything was delicious and the environment is so charming and refreshing. Had a teriyaki chicken rice bowl and apple mint lemonade, then took a milk tea boba for the road. Loved it, and I’m looking forward to checking out the Wilshire location the next time I’m in LA 🙂

Like stepping through a portal from downtown L.A. into a serene plant filled garden, that happens to smell delicious. The atmosphere was charming. The food was fantastic. The staff was friendly. The overall experience was wonderful. If we find ourselves in the neighborhood again we will absolutely stop in.

Food is great and the inside is beautiful! I got udon and chicken karage ? All the plants are pretty and they also have cafe items such as tea and cookies.

Feels like a garden in here. I ordered the veg salad and miso soup. The salad was huge and fresh, next time I’ll try the half soup-half salad option. The green tea boba with oat milk was delish, not too sweet. Thanks!

This place is amazing. The only downside is the homeless and drug use all over the surrounding sidewalk areas. Overlooking that, since they can not do anything about that, the service is wonderful, the environment is beautiful, and the food is top knotch at a good price. Try the cookies!!!
