The people here are extremely rude and clearly have no incentive or knowledge to be working at a college. I got registered for classes I didn’t even need to take, sending me back over a semester. I had to take 3 different classes both summers I was enrolled here in order to finish my general ed within the 2 years because no one at this place has a clue what classes are ACTUALLY needed for your major. (It took advisors from the university i’m currently at to tell me i basically wasted my time and money, since financial aid doesn’t cover summer classes. They were the ones that directed me towards what I needed to get done).
I also had to take classes through 2 other community colleges because this place falls short on certain classes that you need to graduate. Do yourself a favor and go to a quality college. The commute to Butte or Sierra is 100% worth it, where they actually care about your education.

Impossible to talk to any counselors or admin to try to get classes scheduled. How are people supposed to better themselves and use what our taxes pay for if you make it impossible to even attend. Very disappointing and will be going to Butte College. Butte College is way safer and has WAY more programs. Is this how you treat disabled veterans?

Horrible guidance counselor, tried to walk in today during their walk in hours, came 30 minutes before they were supposed to start and was told they started earlier than they said and had everyone booked up 20 minutes before they were supposed to start. It’s a Black Friday event where you stand waiting for a chance to get classes! Whoo hooo!!!

Not very many interesting degree or certificate programs to choose from. Staff is somewhat helpful but not enough for my taste. Cost of attendance is higher than other similar schools last time I checked. Low graduation rates. Located in a crime ridden area although the local area has cleaned up in recent years. For people with learning disabilities I don't recommend going there. Practically no online programs offered as the school has not caught up to modern times and schedules are not flexible. I recommend attending Ashworth College, Penn Foster College, U.S. Career Institute, Washington Technical Institute, California Coast University, University of the People, University of Arkansas Grantham or Columbia Southern University. In general, look elsewhere.

This is the only JC by my house, but they have a good Veterinarian course if you are interested in becoming a vet tech. I wanted to go for the culinary degree but they had discontinued the course, not sure why. But other then that, decent college.

Extremely disorganized and do not care about you or your problem unless you virtue signal. They don’t even pay some of their employees who handle sensitive documents. School has only self interest; considering they have multiple offices not even located on campus (they’re embarrassed being there). They can’t keep a straight and secure staff, it’s really an embarrassment to the community. They even asked for more funding last election with 4 series of funding already. They’re in more debt than they can shake; thank God for the federal bail out money they took from the rest of America. This school is only interested in the little ones who cry Wolf instead of the integrity of America. Beware and avoid at all cost.
