Yavapai College offers a fantastic variety of programs with well-maintained facilities and plenty of ongoing events. The cafeteria is great, and the staff is incredibly dedicated. Over the past 13 years, I’ve both taught and taken classes there, including yoga, karate, swimming, and dance. I’ve also hosted five karate tournaments on and off campus, and every experience has been excellent. Highly recommended

Well I know it’s working for me!
I appreciate all the Professionalism and dedication to teach I have seen demonstrated by the Professionals @ MY YC COLLEGE..,, affordable education and they help through ever phase of your development. I’ve had Professors go the distance in my experience with them. Even offered to help after my classes were thru.
They offered themselves to be there to answer any questions and assist me through the process of my entrepreneurship journey. I extend great gratitude to all those professionals at Yavapai College that do their best every day to learn and grow within the community.

I had been frequenting this College cafeteria, although I am not a student here (this is lawful, (because this College is lawfully Public property).
... That didn't stop the Campus Police (and Cafeteria Faculty staff) from constantly attempting to trespass me from the entire Campus without cause.
...The Campus Police finally did "unlawfully" trespass me the other day, without lawful reasoning.
... That is literally a Constitutional rights violation against me (literally a Felony by the Campus Police Officers against me).
...Now I can sue the Cafeteria Faculty staff, and the Campus Police in a Federal lawsuit.

At 60, I thought what the heck do I think I’m doing? Reaching for for a degree at my age? My granddaughter said the same thing, can you still do that at your age? I say, Hell Yeah! I have felt welcomed since registering At Yavapai. I am accepted as a student like all the others. I’m graded like all the others. My feedback has been no different than the others. When I first stepped foot on the Yavapai College campus, I was greeted with I Belong. I just finished my first semester and I feel 100% that I Belong. I have wonderful instructors, generous feedback from other students and a amazing feeling of accomplishment! Whoo hooo I’m smart! And I can get good grades! Does it get any better?

Had a great time seeing the Texas Tinners ! I do wanna say you need more parking! Almost missed the show & had to park Illegally and risk a ticket!
I tried to arrive early but I was only able to arrive 20 minutes early this time usually an hour. But there was about 6 other cars struggling to find a spot too And there wasn't enough handicap Or regular spots! That makes it stressful.... Just a suggestion Maybe have valet parking too

Not the best and not the worst. I had some great professors and others- not so much. The bookstore is always running out of the books/programs I need and financial aid doesn't dispurse for a few months after the semester starts, causing extra added expense. I also had several classes where the textbooks were used only a couple times throughout the semester, or we had to spend several hundred dollars just for the code to do work online. Some students don't have that much expendable cash on hand and they can certainly do more to make it easier. I did enjoy my time here overall.

Wonderful school especially for veterans! The staff have a great deal of knowledge on working with the VA and have a really good understanding of what you as a student needs. I've never had any problem with the physical campus, staff or students. Lovely area too!
