Ashley Matheny is an asset to the world of education. I've known Ashley professionally and personally since 2005 and I'm in awe of her teaching skills each day. Her teaching style is modified for each individual child and their needs. Ashley has worked with students whose ages have varied. All students seem to be comfortable and enjoy working with Ashley. With her kind heart, sing-song voice, her love of knowledge, and her willingness to show each child love, kindness, and respect any student would be very fortunate to work with her. Allowing your child to work with Ashley would benefit them greatly.

Ashley saved our homeschooling.

Without Ashley, I don't think I could have made this work. She is the most amazing person and teacher. She cares so much about these kids and her style is just what all of my children needed. Even though they are each so different, she is perfect for them all.

I would recommend Ashley to absolutely anyone but especially the homeschooling mom or dad, who is completely overwhelmed or their child is struggling.

Ashley now handles the big lessons like reading and math and I get to be the fun learning mom. We learn at the zoo together and go for walks.

Without Ashley, we wouldn't have made it this far. She really is the best thing that happened to our homeschooling.

Ashley did our portfolio review for homeschooling this year. This is our first year so we are brand new at this. She was so helpful and beyound patient. My son is autistic so some things are not quite up to par but she was amazing with it. She walked me through what information I need to have for reviews, and She was patient as I tried to put them together

We have been working with Ms. Ashley with our oldest son for over a year. We have seen tremendous improvement and feel confident he will do well as he goes into the second grade. We just started our middle child (entering kindergarten). The kiddos are always eager to work with her each week. Ms. Ashley is always helpful with extra website, worksheets, or words to practice on. Our homeschooling with our daughter was inconsistent and very, very difficult. We started, as many did, during Covid, and circumstances in our family convinced us to continue it this year. But we were dreading it.

Thankfully, working with Ashley at Whole Child Learning Academy has made all the difference. Our daughter now looks FORWARD to her schooling, and is learning quickly and consistently. She loves Ashley, and enjoys her fellow students, too.

Ashley is not only an amazing teacher, she is a truly remarkable human being. When I first met Ashley years ago, it was heartwarming to meet someone who was able to radiate her love for children and her love for life, even before learning she was a teacher and enjoyed working with kids and families. As someone who has worked with children and families for 18 years, just speaking with Ashley was like a breath of fresh air. She is someone you can genuinely meet or talk to once and *know* that she is a genuinely caring person whose love for helping children learn and grow radiates with her every word and action. Her passion for working with families to ensure that each student succeed using their own unique strengths while also developing a lifelong love for learning is a special skill that comes so naturally to Ashley.
