Horrible judge. Wouldn’t even look at my evidence and basically said she believes her officers over the public anyway.. judges are there to make sure fairness and justice take place but not her. This whole courthouse is a joke and so is the officer that wrote the ticket. made me take a plea I didn’t want to take all because a speed limit sign wasn’t there. LOL what a joke. And the judge left in the middle of court to make a phone call and was texting on her phone. How professional. Telling people they had felony charges and having to be corrected by the states attorney lmao. She don’t even know what’s going on. This is who you let work for you? Also the girl sitting next to her looks like Roz from monsters inc and was glaring at us the whole time. She looks like she has no joy in life.

I have not had to deal with this court house, personally, but from what I can assess, what a joke. They are worse than the court in Mayberry. They allow individuals to continually move a court date out (for the last 5 years) on frivolous excuses, that have been proved to be bogus. Does the court/Judges not have anything to do or busy doing personal things, that they substantiate granting extensions. Its mind boggling. This is why individuals have no faith in the judicial system. They are not operating righteously and with no merit. Anyone having to deal w/this court and Judges, good luck. Don't expect a speedy trial as this can linger on for a long time.
Those claiming to have covid just to get out of appearing, does the court require justification or just take their word for it. JUST SAD

I had a warrant for a CGH medical bill. I missed a court date that I didn’t get in the mail or anything. I think I got my next court date on some RRCA card and lost it or forgot it about it once, out of the 30 times I had been to court to pay the petty amount I owed. I paid my warrant fee and my amount owed that month to CGH to not sit in jail over a MEDICAL BILL until my next court date. So a week later I’m driving and get stopped for California rolling through a stop sign in Dixon. They tell me I have a warrant and need to take me in. Luckily I’m a person of saving documents and told them they were crazy I didn't have a warrant I just paid my fines and bill and was let out of the holding cell for my warrant. They officer did not believe me he thought I was lying. I made him call over to Morrison Courthouse and verify I did not have a warrant that was showing in the computer system still. Luckily it was on a weekday during office hours at the courthouse and the officer about 25 minutes later verified I indeed did not have a warrant. Morrison Courthouse just didn’t/ forgot to update the system. If it weren’t for it being a weekday during office hours, I would have been sitting in jail for something I didn’t need to sit in jail over. Morrison Courthouse is a joke. Whoever didn’t take the warrant out of the system on me deserves to be fired. The office said he’s been a cop for 25 years and has never seen that happen before and was shocked he was letting me go due to a mistake on their part.

Ten years ago, on a cold dark night
Someone was killed, 'neath the town hall light
There were few at the scene, but they all agreed
That the slayer who ran, looked a lot like me

The judge said son, what is your alibi
If you were somewhere else, then you won't have to die
I spoke not a word, thou it meant my life
For I'd been in the arms of my best friend's wife

She walks these hills in a long black veil
She visits my grave when the night winds wail
Nobody knows, nobody sees
Nobody knows but me

If you have to go to this courthouse make sure you got hella cash in your account because the judges are cruel people and will try to bleed you of every penny that you have.
