Over the years, we have used a number of tutors and services from Westchester Prep and have always been very happy with the results. The staff is professional and responsive and really cares about what they do, and they take the time to get to know each child's specific needs and how best to help them. They are very knowledgeable on standardized testing and school curriculum, including the differences of how subjects may be taught across the local high schools. In addition to private one-on-ones, they offer small group sessions which are a great option. Their Regents and AP Review classes are also very helpful and taught by top-notch tutors. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for academic support.

Westchester Prep has been amazing for both of my kids. From the first informational phone to tutoring sessions, test day and post test, Dan has been available, patient, kind and an incredible resource. He avails himself and is happy to discuss the test and road to college process at length. The whole team is flexible when it comes to figuring out scheduling of tutoring sessions. My kids both liked their tutors and improved their test scores. There was plenty of opportunity to take practice tests and discuss areas of improvement. Surprisingly my kids didn’t complain about going to the tutoring sessions because they liked the tutors! They were engaging and have the ability to make teenagers feel comfortable and confident for test days. Westchester Prep provides a professional and personalized experience for that truly helped set my mind at ease!

Both my children and I had an excellent experience with Westchester Prep. The prompt communication and ability to schedule individualized tutoring for ACT prep was so appreciated. The approach of taking the test first to find out strengths and areas to work on saved lots of time. The tutors are engaged, kind and truly care about your child’s success. Pleasantville Prep (now Westchester Prep) was recommended to me, and what a great recommendation it was. It was imperative that my son increase his SAT score as the school he wanted definitely not test optional. For him the one-on-one for math and ELA was a great fit. He went from June to August and increased his score 110 points! He is now a West Point cadet and the SAT score definitely played a part.
