Never had a problem get greenlighted every time. But i still make sure everythings correct before i get to one that way if i do get pulled in for an inspection just let them do their job im not worried. Its funny hearing other drivers on the cb hollering whats the coops doing? Why are you asking? Are you running illegal and trying to sneak by? If youre paperwork electric log weight and permits and truck is in good shape dont worry about it . if they want to inspect let them. No big deal.

I'VE NEVER FELT SO CRIMINAL. I get pulled in and she does a level 2 inspection along with a human trafficking investigation. I had my step-daughter rolling with me who loves to take pictures of the mountains and water streams. I was headed with a load delivering in Washington. The DOT lady called the police troopers there, to investigate if I've kidnapped my step-daughter.
She tried to make a big deal and big scene, but I kept my cool and smiled because judging her demeanor, she looks problem. I can look at her and tell she's a DOT officer because she's been through something horrible in her life. I hope she gets through what ever it is bad from her past one day. In the meantime, if you've got your daughter with you while going through this weigh station, get ready for her to ask your daughter who is this man (meaning you), what's your name, age, where are you going, why are you with him, where's your mom?... Then she's going to pop your seal on your trailer to inspect if you're carrying humans instead of a load. If you don't have load locks or straps on your non moving heavy juice load that's loaded on the floor on pallets, be prepared to school her on Why you don't need straps on that.
After inspecting inside trailer and load, she's like I thought you might've had some humans in there. Then, the Colorado trooper is going to come there and ask your daughter the same questions... Sorry, don't be afraid, the DOT lady thinks you've been kidnapped by this man. She said he, (your step-dad) just looks suspicious to her. The trooper asks me for my step daughter moms number, who is my Wife..My wife tells me trooper asked her questions about this stuff.
Anyway, I was there almost 2 hrs and ended up being 4 hours late to my delivery appt because I had to pull over as I got sleepy early after patiently enduring all of that.
Talk about turning a beautiful trip with my step-daughter into a horror movie. Thanks!!! Next time I'll record it all. Make them uncomfortable too. I see how it feels to be looked at as a kidnapper and a human trafficker now!
