I danced with Weehawken for 8 years. I did silks, hip hop, jazz, and ballet. In my time at Weehawken I learned the importance of teamwork. They fostered a supportive and healthy environment. Everyone was always so supportive of each other. I danced many lead roles and always felt encouraged by my peers and teachers. I always felt safe and loved in class. I am grateful for all of the opportunities that Weehawken gave me.

I had never gone to a Weehawken show before. I experienced their showing of Cinderella a couple years back, and now I go back to every show. Weehawken shows are magical and extravagant, I highly recommend viewing one of their performances!

I can't even begin to describe the sadness I have for where this program has gone. I would advise everyone and anyone to stay away from it, especially if you want to do aerial. They do not care at all about their aerialists, they only care about their dancers. Their dancers will get princess treatment while their aerialists are like the servants. It is such a biased and extremely toxic environment. The teachers act like teenagers too. They're rude, entitled, and pick favorites and if you aren't a favorite then watch out.

They kicked me out of the aerial program after posting something about my sport (not even mentioning the program once might I say. No negative things either, just funny and light hearted.) on my PRIVATE TikTok account. They followed me on my PRIVATE social media and stalked my account to find it! (This would be illegal if it were a school teacher.) And then they got sooo angry at me when I unfollowed them on my account so they couldn't stalk my private page. So unprofessional.

And to find out what they did to my aerial friends this past weekend.. they're losing lots of aerialists.. I wonder why!

Save your money and stay away! Don't support this place.

Weehawken Creative Arts has provided my children (and me!) with access to rich programs of all types. The instructors are top-notch and make a true heart investment in their students of all ages. With varied programming that’s astounding for a smaller community, there’s truly something for everyone at Weehawken Creative Arts. The staff behind the scenes are always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable when I call or pop into the office with a question. This organization is a delight to our region and has earned my highest recommendation.

The best organization on the western slope. I've participated in several art classes of many medias, and got to see my great niece dance in 3 amazing shows. Weehawken is the best!!

I have had the pleasure and great good luck to be a patron of and Guest Teaching Artist at Weehawken Creative Arts Center, and can not come up with enough good things to say. The programming and facility are world class, as is their treatment of and respect for teachers and students. Get thyself to Ridgway as soon as you can, you'll be SO HAPPY you did!!

Weehawken Creative Arts is changing lives on the Western Slope through providing an abundance of well-run, diversified arts programs from Montrose to Ridgway to Ouray and over Red Mountain to Silverton. It is truly remarkable that families in towns the size of Ridgway, Ouray and Silverton have access to virtually all Art formsn at such a high professional level. And, Weehawken's new 610 Arts Collection Gallery & Shop on Clinton Street is simply SMASHING and a boon to traffic on Ridgway's new "Main Street". Many thanks to the board and staff of Weehawken Creative Arts for serving our extended community so well!
