Im currently enrolled in their winter/spring semester and so far I am liking it. WTS will provide you with knowledge on troubleshooting different heating as well as cooling units. Theres so much to digest but with the help of the instructor any questions you have he is ready to help and is very patient. He has a great pace and speaks both english and Spanish. On my first day they provided me with a notebook to write down notes which was very nice. Most of the time we learn the theory portion (basically note taking) but after a few weeks we get to do hands on which definitely helps getting you familiar with what you’ve been learning. They provide tools so you don't have to bring anything but a notebook and something to write with. When it comes to finances they were very flexible with payments and created a payment plan with me which helped me out significantly and it was a stress free process. They provide classes in English and Spanish to provide education for a wide variety of students. Im very excited for this new opportunity and I hope to become licensed and start my own HVAC business with the help of Waukegan Technical School.

Guy hung up on me when I asked about english speaking classes. I joked about how I was bummed about it in spanish but he got really pissed off and hung up. Told him “no mames” and tried to have a laugh with him. He said “we don’t joke around here”. Tried to call back but he blocked my number. Was hoping to send one of our students here for training. Such a goofy experience.

I recommend this technical school for people who want to get started in the HVAC industry either getting a job or starting their own business. They will teach you the basic and intermediate knowledge you need for electricity, sheet metal, furnace/air conditioning, and diagnostics. Great price and good pace for beginners with no experience, but also for people with a background in this field.

Waukegan Technical School’s HVAC program is top tier. I have been attending classes to become an HVAC technician for a few weeks. The instructors are all experienced, patient, and very knowledgeable. They know how to explain things well, and they give plenty of opportunities to learn hands on too. I took a chance on driving an hour each way from Wisconsin to attend classes here because I heard great things about the program, and I’m glad I enrolled. I’m excited to pursue another industry and am confident that the skills I am gaining in the program will prepare me. I have a wonderful support system with the instructors at Waukegan Technical School, and I highly recommend attending!

WTS Ofrece una de las carreras técnicas más competentes a nivel nacional. Una excelente oportunidad para todo aquel que tiene deseos de emprender un negocio propio, o metas a un mejor futuro. Cuenta con herramienta adecuada y equipos suficiente para que los estudiantes puedan llevar a cabo las prácticas necesarias y requeridas; de esta forma los alumnos saquen el mejor provecho a nivel teórico y práctico. Los instructores se dan la tarea de enseñar con mucha paciencia y mucho profesionalismo cada procedimiento a realizar, con la expectativa de qué los estudiantes sean formados profesionalmente en este ámbito. El costo muy favorable y su ubicación muy accesible; Los instructores y alumnos crean un ambiente muy agradable en cada clase. En sólo cinco meses de estar estudiando ha sido de bastante provecho en el aprendizaje que he adquirido, 100% recomendable.

Realmente quiero dar las gracias a la escuela WTS quien me ha esneńado todo lo necesario para poder desempeñar este oficio, del cual ya eh cosechado los frutos del mismo y aunque se que aún falta mucho por aprender, me han dado las herramientas necesarias para poder sobresalir. Gracias a los maestros y Tony muchas gracias realmente me a ayudado bastante toda la enseñanza recibida por medio de la escuela.
