I love this town. The park district and the people running it are wonderful. The gym is such a deal with a great selection of equipment.
Something I DON’T love about this town! I was just reading about concerts in the park. What ever happened to the $5 dollar brat’s? Really dumb idea who ever came up with that one. The brats were hot off the grill and delicious! Now you expect people to pay that for cold possible warm $9 dollar corn dog. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Great park with a walking path! Lots of areas to spread out, you can borrow equipment to play the games in the back. Three playgrounds and several ball fields. Gets busy during football and soccer season!

FANTASTIC CAMP!! The camp counselors are fantastic. The summer camp coordinator, Stephanie is awesome - she is the best with parent communications!! We'll continue on with Wauconda summer camp next year.

Horrible customer service, and some community center! When I asked if it was possible to put up a flyer for a community event, I was told they don’t have a bulletin board…only to see flyers posted on one right outside when leaving for various events that don’t even take place in Wauconda. I’ll be sure to pass the information on to people I know in the area.

Very disappointed in the room reservation process. Inquired mid February about late March to be told only the manager has access to the schedule and they only take reservations for each month starting on the first of that month. No wait list, nothing.

So we waited for the first and I went in person to reserve at lunch time to only to be told that there is a birthday party that weekend and requested spot is unavailable. I understand if community events take priority, but the system in place for other spots for residents doesn’t seem fair or helpful. Who really inquired first and why is it a race on the first of each month for those trying to plan ahead. What if you have a party on the 2nd? You wait to the 1st to find out? Now we are stuck At square one looking for a new venue 3 weeks out and changing address on invites partially due to a not very modern reservation process.

It's easy to workout with the other members. The place is low key and never overcrowded. You don't feel pressured to bulk up fast. So it's great for people who aren't already hyper fit. Play your own routine to measure your progress. This gym has all the equipment needed for basic training.

This is a great place to work out. The staff is very friendly. They take their covid response seriously putting up plexiglass and reducing the amount of people.
But I would suggest to anyone in the area to go over and give it a try. They will walk you around and show you all their equipment. They also have many different programs that you can join.
