The price for the course was reasonable. The instructor and her methods are great. Can't go wrong. Very supportive staff. I'm still calling on them a few years after receiving my certificate with them and they are still very helpful.

Judy and her staff are very kind, courteous and professional! She makes sure you get everything you need to succeed and sets you up with a great clinical experience! Very affordable, only takes a short amount of time and you take the test at the school. They walk you through the process after completing class & clinicals to apply for your license. Go talk to Judy today! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get into the field of phlebotomy!

I attended WTU in January and I can truly say this was one of the best decisions I've made. I did my research prior to even contacting Judy about her program but when I did speak with her I knew this was the school for me. The first question she asked was why I was choosing this field. Personally I think this is incredibly important to ask when you are going into a field like phlebotomy. Judy has an amazing personality and is able to balance professionalism with still being personable, not to mention hilarious. Justin was a great instructor and made me feel confident with my sticks and was always available to assist or give advice when needed. We did our advanced classes via zoom with Dave but he too did a great job teaching the advanced portion and I felt very informed and confident in my abilities and knowledge by the end of the weekend. I like the fact that Judy was always straight forward since day one. Being that covid was at a high at this point, sites to do our clinical hours were shut down but Judy made us aware of this upon first conversation but she was also constantly updating us on the status of these sites. She set up stick practice and sometimes practiceS each week but would be accommodating to as many students as she could. I was extremely impressed by how much she cares for her students and would bend over backwards to make things easier for us meanwhile she's insanely busy herself. When it came time to apply for our state license, Veronica was organized and full of help to guide me through the process. If you're looking for a school to obtain your CPT-1 this is it, even if you have to drive, it's worth it!

Opinion- This class was really easy. It only took me a little less then 2 months with clinical’s. It was well trained and they allow you to go at your own pace. For the price it is I would recommend this school to anyone that wants to get their CTP license quick and easy. Another thing that I liked about WTI was that they get you prepared for your state test. Even though the class is quick they prepare you for everything.

The instructors were very friendly and paciente with all the students. If you had any problems with anything they were there to help and answer all questions.

Lastly everything is hands on in this class which I love. The also have practice times set up if you would want to come on your time to practice and get better with sticking.

Again I would recommend this class to friends and everyone.

Horrible and full of lies. 5 months after classes and still no clinical site. No follow up and doesn't want to refund all the class money so I can go somewhere else. Fully paid and says it'll tk 45 days for a refund. Still nothing. She will take your $550.- and will possibly return the rest. Nothing yet. No communication no clinical site but 2 locations for Lots and Lots of students and no one is finishing this program. 5+ months and still waiting...go somewhere else!

Let this review be your unbiased look at this program and process as a student here at Wagner Training Institute.

First and foremost, I want to say that this program is superb and the owner Judy goes above and beyond any educational personal I have met and worked with. I started the program in the first week of January 2021, and finished the last step in the 4th week of March 2021 with a CPT-1 issued by the state. Classes are held both in person and online (20 hours each), and a folder is given with a detailed educational plan that Judy personally walks you through as you progress. Practices are held 1-2 times a week, completely optional with no limit to however much you want to attend.

Looking at past reviews and even talking among my classmates, its completely understandable to be upset over the wait time to complete your 40 hours of clinical internship. Keep in mind that during the COVID-19 restrictions there's only so much they can do for that, especially if a student completed the classes in the middle or beginning of the pandemic.

In my case I waited 8 weeks and was able to text Judy personally for information about practices, updates on the internship, and even potential job offers in my area while i waited.

To give any advice for future students, or anyone reading to help decide if this school is right for you, my advice is to DO IT. Why pay $3000 for 6 months of schooling when you can do it in 2 months for less cost here? Make sure to ask many questions and BE COMMUNICATIVE. I've attached a photo of the steps for reference.

The staff and owner care about their students' success. They give their students the opportunity to practice as much as they need so they can be comfortable before getting signed off to go to clinic, there is no rush. I went for about a month and felt well prepared when I drew on my first patient. The instructors did their best to keep us interested in the (not so exciting) material being taught. Justyn and Dave know their stuff and kept us interested and laughing. This is a great school that has a good reputation in the area. Lots of phlebotomists I've met working at labs and hospitals have received their training here. As I said, the staff cares about their students and are available to help with interviewing skills and resume reviewal. I highly recommend this place, its quick, they accept payments allowing the student to be in control of their own progress.
