I have been a student at Voicetrax SF for a year now, and I have had an incredible experience while exploring the art and craft of voiceover acting. From the talented office staff to the extraordinary guest teachers, I have received the broadest coaching with the most current industry insight. The journey is different for every student, and the team at Voicetrax embraces that individual approach. I am indebted to Samantha and her staff, and I can't wait to see what the next year has in store!

Being a student at Voicetrax is one of the best gifts I have given myself.
Weather your already working in the industry or just beginning to learn they have classes for all levels, this I believe is the best training.
Samantha Paris the founder, along with Chuck, Vickie and Roni are all professional voice actors and great supportive instructors. It's a wonderful community to be part of. When Covid struck last spring a smooth transition was created on the zoom format not a class was missed and nothing was delayed. I highly recommend this school. You'll find your voice and more of yourself!

I signed up for a class at Voicetrax on a whim one day while trying to figure out something new to learn. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. As someone who had no experience acting, singing, or anything else performance related I was a bit intimidated but after taking classes but everyone was so nice and helpful and encouraging.

I've now been taking classes at Voicetrax for about a year and a half and I have yet to have a negative experience. The quality of the teachers is amazing and I've been able to meet and be taught by people who were a major part of my childhood.

If someone wants to get into voice acting I would suggest you give one class a shot. You won't be disappointed.

I've been a student at Voicetrax since July 2016, and a student of acting for decades. I've studied various acting techniques at both academic institutions and private studios. Voicetrax was the first that showed me a clearly lit path to representation by an agent and a real acting career. Of course, there are never any guarantees in the entertainment industry, but I'm happy to say that, thanks to the excellent curriculum, community, and industry connections made through Voicetrax, I now have an agent and have booked professional voice over work. Samantha Paris is a caring and generous teacher and mentor and she and her staff and guest directors create a safe space for the emotionally and psychologically vulnerable work acting requires. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Voicetrax is more than just a voice-over academy. It’s a community where the classes are fun and educational and so are the people.

Not only did I become a working voice actress due to my experiences at Voicetrax but I’ve made amazing friends and learned about who I am.

No matter if you just want to express your creativity, tell a great bedtime story or looking to train for a new career...Voicetrax is the safest place to explore what you’re capable of and who you are. Unleash your inner 6 year old and enjoy!

If you've ever had an inkling that you might want to get into voice acting, have always wanted to be a voice actor, or just want some help "finding your voice," Voicetrax is the place for you. As a Bay Area native, I was hesitant to dip my toes into the unknown waters of pursuing my longtime dream of becoming a voice actor, thinking I would have to blindly move to LA or NYC with no experience. A year and a half after starting classes at Voicetrax, I've already booked a gig (I'm now officially a paid voice actor!) and feel that I'm being well-equipped to dive headfirst into the world of voice-over.

Rest assured, you will be taught by experienced, working voice actors, directors, agents, and other individuals who know the ins and outs of the industry and impart their knowledge to students with joy and efficacy. Aside from all the knowledge and experience I'm gaining from my classes at Voicetrax, it is also introducing me to the amazing community I've found with my fellow students. Without question, Voicetrax has irrevocably changed my life and I am grateful that I have such an amazing establishment so close to home!

[EDIT]: I relocated to Oregon 6 months ago and the transition with Voicetrax has been seamless. Initially worried that I would have to forgo my classes or make the arduous journey South for an occasional weekend class, I've been so pleased to see that the move has not impacted my experience. The Voicetrax team initially handled the sudden everything-now-needs-to-be-online-because-of-COVID pivot beautifully and have made it possible for me to continue my education while now residing outside of the Bay Area. Voicetrax helped me assemble a home recording studio, which is increasingly valuable in the world of remote voice work. While their Sausalito location is beautiful, it's reassuring that whether near or far, Voicetrax has you covered!

Voicetrax is a place where passion, community, creativity and positivity collide and a new sense of self is born. Samantha, Chuck, Vicki and Roni are the DREAM team. They have seamlessly transitioned all classes to the Zoom format which has been wonderful and that much more convenient! As students of the craft we are exposed to working professionals in the industry - agents, actors, casting directors, booth directors, as the reality of actually working and succeeding as a voice actor is realized. Most of the auditioning process has transitioned to home recording anyways, so we are taught how to be self-directors and self-producers. I have found my people, and they have found me and I could not be more grateful to be a part of this magnificent tribe.
