We have just completed 10 years at Village Bible Church Sugar Grove. The leadership is committed to Biblical expository preaching and even with incredible growth have continued to keep the main thing the main thing- Jesus Christ! We have been so blessed and empowered to be Christ-like in our community. I can’t recommend this church enough!

I love the people and 70% of the messages they preach, and I will still definitely be going. My only complaint (which is why it’s at a three) is that sometimes they have trouble keeping state out of the church. We’re suppose to be going there to worship god and his message to the world, not scream about a Supreme Court ruling you’re not happy about.

Their mission statement is right on!!!
Pastor had a great message.
However the environment is manufactured. Not Holy Spirit organic. Semi-lukewarm. To dark like a worldly movie-theater.

Village Bible Church has been such an answer to prayer for our family. We started attending a little over a year ago while my husband attended nursing school and were quickly welcomed into the community. The biblical teaching and foundation was the biggest draw, but we have appreciated the ministry opportunities, events, our wonderful small group, and the people who poured into us during a difficult situation! We also greatly appreciate the accountability of the staff and their involvement in the community. We are moving because my husband got a job in another state, and we are so sad to leave Village and wish we could bring everyone with us!

My family has been attending this church almost 2 years. It is the perfect size, every one is friendly and inclusive. We have 3 children who love attending as well. We especially love how Bible focused all the sermons are. Truly is a special church that God is blessing.

Finding Village Bible Church in Sugar Grove has changed my life in more ways that I could ever explain. I've tried many churches I either am bored don't understand or just feel out of place. I was ready to give up on finding a church. One last shot I decided to go to Village Bible in sugar Grove. I felt so welcomed and so comfortable there and the sermon from pastor Tim was something I could really understand. I wasn't bored and I definitely didn't feel out of place. Village Bible Church and all the people that go there helped me become a Christian again and walk with the Lord I will be forever grateful for God leading me to this church. For anybody who is skeptical about going to church I ask that you please try this church once and experience what an amazing place it is. And I guarantee you'll want to come back.

I have grown up in village all 19 years of my life. This great community has stuck with me and my family in both the highs and lows of life. Their great teachings in both youth and adults have only grown and strengthened my faith even more. When you come to village you’re not just joining a church but you’re joining our family!
