Varsity Tutors is comprised of a very hardworking and passionate team. They constantly send tutoring opportunities and ensure all is running smoothly throughout a tutoring contract. Sometimes, the team can be a little overwhelming by sending too many matches and calling too often, but they have the best intentions. The key to a successful partnership with this company is communication. As long as you tell them your preferences, they will do their best to ensure your needs are met. I highly recommend using this service. My daughter started with a tutor for SAT and then after about a year decided to switch to ACT and so we got another tutor matched for her. Stacey was phenomenal. The work that she did with my daughter for the ACT also helped her to increase her SAT score by 110 points. All in all she got fantastic scores on both tests. With our remaining hours we are starting Essay Writing tutoring tomorrow with a 3rd tutor. We love the flexibility. Great company and it worked out so well for us. We have shared the recommendations and some friends are very pleased as well.

I have never dealt with a more professional, diligent, attentive, genuinely caring, competent, extremely helpful, always available, Tutoring company than Varsity Tutors.
Sahil Chaudhry was my daughter's tutor for the SAT. He was reliable, patient, brilliant, and explained difficult concepts in a way that was easy to understand. My daughter felt he was instrumental in helping her attain a score of 1540 on her very first SAT!!
Leslie dela Cruz, was a tutor that worked with my daughter on AP US History. She was having difficulty with this class, and one day when going nowhere while studying for an exam, she thought she'd give Varsity's 'Instant Tutoring' a try (at 11 pm at night). Leslie immediately came up as an AP US History tutor. She was phenomenal in prepping my daughter for this grueling exam. After working with Leslie, my daughter's average in AP US History went from a C to a B+. Leslie also helped my daughter with the SAT prep- general overview, helpful hints for organizing her time, etc.
Handouts were always provided!
We still have tutoring hours left- my daughter will be able to use them for any tutoring needs she may have in her Senior year, and we will certainly purchase more hours as needed. It's amazing HOW MANY different courses that Varsity is capable of producing a tutor for! It's like a 1-stop shopping for all our varied needs!
Whether it was in-person, on-line, scheduled in advance, or a last minute, on-line call for help, our experience with Varsity Tutoring was outstanding!!
And, we were reassured upon signing my daughter up, that if our experience with a tutor was anything less than outstanding, the Varsity team wanted to know about it so that they could make it better! Luckily, all our experiences with my daughter's tutors were truly outstanding!!

The Supervisor has reached out to me & we came to an agreement. I am pleased with our conversation & we've moved on. Moving forward, I will continue to use them & recommend this place.

I reached out to varsity tutor to help me to pass the LCSW exam with guarantee until I pass or money back. I did not pass the test and I did not my money back. Now varsity tutors claimed that my contract was expired. I was in assigned a manager account names Maggie and I was in communication and I was never informed that my contract was about to expire and I lost $2,800 dollars for 36 hours. I'm in square one. Please don’t buy their lies.

I have been using two separate tutors and started in Nov, 2016. With the help of both of them, my Spanish has improved significantly. Both of my tutors have been excellent at assessing my needs and tailoring our sessions to them. My experience with Varsity Tutors has been very positive.

My daughter loves Bibi. She is able to get her to focus and do the work, which is most of the battle. Bibi always comes prepared and is very patient and clear. Varsity is great to work with - easy to match tutors with my daughter and no obligation if they aren't a good match. Highly recommend!

My daughter had an amazing experience with Varsity Tutors. She had a tutor for 6 months that helped her with ACT prep. Her score increased with the tutoring and she loved the organization of the program and interactive platform.
