This has been such a positive experience. Great customer service has been a key factor. Questions and concerns or promptly addressed by knowledgeable and professional people. The tutoring programs are comprehensive and go above and beyond expectations. Customer support is effective and efficient, as well as timely.

We have the worst experience with this tutoring service. I was told that someone would contact after signing up and paying to create a profile and match a tutor for my daughter. The first tutor never met with us because their own school schedule was too busy, the second tutor assigned canceled and rescheduled so much that we went three weeks with out a session and then another was assigned who apparently was not in the US and could only meet late nights. We finally get assigned a tutor in the US and promised that this would be resolved and after one session were unable to schedule any further and she is no longer available. I was offered credits but yet no tutor to use for the credits. I would NOT recommend this service to anyone. The amount of times I have had to call and speak with someone and kept getting unfulfilled promises was purely ridiculous.

As my one year anniversary with Varsity Tutors slowly approaches, I have enjoyed working for them as a Mathematics tutor. Over this year, I have been matched with various students from various backgrounds. Through this company, I seem to have grown as a person since becoming a tutor. My 5th grader needed help in math. After a ton of research, I came across Varsity Tutors. It was the BEST decision we could have ever made. Tutoring in-person as well as online has been a great experience thus far. The hours are flexible, and while coordinating scheduling sessions with multiple students at once is a bit challenging, it is still a great feeling to help out students all over the place. Tutoring has also been a great opportunity to solidify my knowledge of my preferred subjects; they say that one truly understands the material if they can fluently teach it. It's a great way to help other students while keeping up-to-date on your own mastery of the subject.
