Me and my husband both took a class with Dennis. He made both of us feel welcome and comfortable. His class was very educational and easy to follow. The many years of multi facetted experience Dennis brings to the classroom and the range is priceless!
I Highly recommend his classes to anyone looking to increase their knowledge and skills in the area of firearm safety and use, no matter your shooting level.

I highly recommend this course for obtaining a certificate for a Conceal Carry Permit. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned professional with firearms, you will be treated the same. they are very professional and down to earth simultaneously, kind and fun! I found the course to be thorough without being too difficult, even for beginners.

The facility is nice, and the people that worked there and showed up for the class were all nice, and like minded. Mr. Dennis Orsage is very educated, sharp, and friendly, not arrogant. His helpers are fantastic.

It can be a bit nerve racking to do something like this, especially if you are new. all i can say is go for it! You will not be disappointed, and they will do all they can to help you pass and get your certificate.

I took my CCW 8 hour course with Dennis at Valley Firearms Training. Such a great class! Dennis is an outstanding instructor who provided so much more than just the standard criteria. I truly appreciated all of his recommendations and advice. I would highly recommend Valley Firearm Training to anyone who owns a gun, regardless if you plan to get your CCW permit or not.

As a former New Orleans Police Officer and retired military, I have taken numerous shooting courses. Although confident that I could fire the weapon well enough and as a good test raker, I was still apprehensive about taking the course. How would my wife be treated and would she be comfortable? No worries! The best one day shooting course I have ever attended! With federal retirement looming, we may not get our concealed carry here. However, the superior instruction will make us more confident on our abilities, continue learning and shooting until we apply later in another state. The assistance at the range was wonderful and made for a great afternoon of shooting. By the way, I won the training at Front Sight training valued at $2000. I, and my wife, completely and highly recommend Valley Firearms! Dennis is a gifted instructor. Happy shooting!

Yesterday I did the CCW class and my second class with Valley Firearms Training.

This was my forth class overall with three different instructors. By far Dennis Orsag is at the top of the list for instructors. Dennis offers the material in an easy to understand, comprehensive and professional manner. You will leave his class with everything you need to know to apply for your CCW. But that just the beginning you really should follow up and continue your training.

My next classes will be his advanced CCW training and Advanced Defensive Pistol next month, I cannot wait.

I can't believe how impressed I am with the Valley Firearms Training course.

The training here is very comprehensive. It made me aware of how much I needed to work on.

Real world applications were taught. We learned practical exercises as opposed to just going through a textbook.

The instructor made all of us students feel like our opinions and questions mattered and we were relevant. None of the questions we asked felt foolish. In fact he encouraged our dialog and kept us interested.

The training was also very engaging and hands-on. Instead of just staring at static PowerPoint text, we were shown videos of real world cause and effect of training or lack thereof.

Dennis, the instructor, is top tier. Everything he taught was important and he was able to demonstrate why we should perform and practice certain methods.

Even during our live testing, he was able to quickly assess what we can concentrate on to improve right then and there.

Dennis and his course is truly professional. Awesome.

Valley firearms training was first class all the way. The professionalism and information with an abundant of experience really showed and educated me in the CCW world. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to further their knowledge on CCW or wanting to learn about handgun knowledge.

Very professional! If you are interested in safe weapon handling and the law, this is the class to take. The class provides a good starting foundation. Quite impressive and excellent tips by a wise and experienced instructor. After taking the class you will never need to state to law enforcement, "I didn't know."
