So, we typically order from them for the last few years. Typically we get our clay, not speedy, but consistent, good quality, getting a hold of them is typically challenging. Ordered clay in the early part of November 2024. Large order. (800lbs of clay) Jaunary comes around and we started looking into why we don't have the clay yet. Was told it was delayed, shipping issues. So to make this brief 3 more month of " it will be shipped to you next week", one sentence response to emails and phone calls when we called them. They never reached out about delays. Asked for alternatives they could substitute, told they didn't have enough clay to even fill the order. So its only 16 boxes of clay...they don't have any clay of any variety that is at least 16 boxes we can close out the order after 5 months. Many emails saying next week, and nothing to show for it. Makes me think the company is going under. Good quality clay, but how does a company that has 30+ types of clay not have 16 boxes of any clay to substitute? Poor customer service for this order. Switching companies for all future needs. Sad becuase we liked the products.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with US Pigment Corporation. What started as a simple query about a discrepancy in shipping charges escalated into a series of rude and dismissive emails from their representative, 'Syed.'

When I politely questioned the shipping cost (which appeared inconsistent with their own website's stated rates), I was met with condescending and unprofessional responses. Rather than addressing my concerns, Syed repeatedly deflected responsibility, blamed the postal service, and even made unkind remarks implying I was wasting their time.

Mistakes happen, and I understand that. However, a professional business should address such concerns courteously and provide clear explanations or resolutions. In this case, not only was my concern brushed aside, but I was also denied the courtesy of receiving the difference in the shipping rate refunded.

The representative, Syed, demonstrated a shocking lack of customer service and respect, which is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. If you value good customer service and fair practices, you may want to look elsewhere.

Love working with US Pigment. I'm local to them so picking up orders is a breeze. Small business that's known for their variety and prices which is amazing. Some of these reviews are just potters being curmudgeons.

I use US pigments all the time. I've had nothing but great experience using this company. They have just about everything you need in clay, and chemicals and great knowledge. Highly recommend.

This company is the most unprofessional in communication. Not only did they not send me a shipping quote before proceeding to charge me they also shorted me on wollastonite. They then proceeded to tell me in the invoice hey we're short. Most unprofessional way of doing business. And don't expect your money refunded. They just give you store credit. Absolutely absurd way to do business. Go buy from another company.

Just had to kiln loads of crystalline ruined using zinc oxide purchase from US pigment corporation. No crystal development using 25% which is my normal amount. Highly advised not to buy that stuff.
