We took my son to UpaDowna’s indoor rock climbing class at City Rock, and it was amazing! None of us had ever rock climbed before, and my son is scared of heights, but the instructor was fantastic. He was super patient and climbed alongside my son to help him feel more comfortable. By the end of the class, my son was confidently letting go of the wall and could latch and unlatch himself from the climbing gear.

What’s even better is that these classes are donation-based, and they offer scholarships for those who can’t afford to pay. It’s great to see a program that’s so inclusive and accessible.

Huge thanks to UpaDowna for an unforgettable experience! We’ll definitely be back.

Great organization doing great things for the local community. Their passion for getting people into the outdoors is unrivaled in The Springs area. They have personally done wonderful things for me in my efforts as a high school PE teacher and my Adventure PE class. Kudos to Randi!

Fantastic group for educating and getting people into the outdoors. Their commitment to the community is such a gift! Rock climbing, outdoor training hikes, stand up paddleboard, biking, sponsoring a city wide adventure race.. the list goes on and on. We have volunteered as well as participated in events with them and it is always so inclusive, friendly and very informative. They make the outdoors accessible to everyone. Can't recommend the group and what they do highly enough.

This organization hosted a yoga event that I prepaid for. The yoga instructor did not show. I asked for a refund which they did not provide. Do not pre book online for any of their events.

So far I've only had the opportunity to participate in a clean-up, but I enjoyed it, and it felt great to help. Looking forward to participating in more events as soon as my schedule starts to clear up. I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs an excuse to get out bed on a weekend to do something fun and productive.

What a wonderful experience! Randi had loads of interesting information alomg the hike and even exposed us to some new things! (Did you know some pine tree bark has a distinct food smell?). Lovely afternoon, great time with the team and even some inspiration and introspection. THANK YOU!

Amazing group of folks, friendly and inviting, and as inclusive as you can possibly get. Don't think your the right "type" of person for an adventure? Think again, they make adventure accessible to everyone. Plus they're super knowledgeable about the where's and what's of great outdoor activities in the area and they want you to come.
