My son had surgery in 2018 and everyone was so professional and nice. They really took great care of my son and they always kept me updated. Now it's year 2025 and he has to have another open heart surgery to repair his valves. I'm so grateful that the doctor that did his surgery in 2018 is going to be the same doctor to redo his surgery.

Nurses are outstanding. Doctors and techs are as well. Facilities are clean and easy to maneuver, even though they are vast. We highly recommend UAB BIRMINGHAM.

This hospital is amazing. Dr. Morsey and his staff were very informative and kind. The staff of nurses and anesthesiologist were incredible at same day surgery. I would highly recommend UAB Highlands and UAB Orthopedic Specialists to anyone who needed these services.

It was a 2 1/2 hour drive one way. However the doctor and the staff and everyone that we came in contact with there was very professional and polite, willing to help if you needed it. Very clean and without the hospital smells, lol

Had a friend that was in MICU who was discharged after being his mother and best friend advised medical staff that client could not live alone. He was in a room, and they asked why couldnโ€™t he be discharged to a rehabilitation facility, or nursing home. Their pleas for help were ignored! He was sent home by a Uber alone with an oxygen tank in a hospital gown without a key to enter his apartment! So very unprofessional! I donโ€™t understand how UABโ€™s staff can think this was Proper Care! ๐Ÿฅน
