The Tutor Doctor is an amazing company that has helped my two boys get back on track with their schoolwork. Their tutor, Mike, made a connection with my boys, 12 and 13 years old. He not only is able to motivate them to do their work but is also a great mentor. Our 11 year old daughter greatly benefits from the tutoring that Nathan provides her! He writes wonderful session notes that help us understand where she is, what she needs improvement on, and how he helps her to accomplish this. This has benefited us greatly, as we really know what she needs before starting a session with him, and in the long term (for instance, she needs to work on her multiplication memorization, exponents, as well as other helpful tools). We could not be more grateful for his patience, his persistance on her taking notes from him when she's not understanding concepts, and quite frankly, not giving her the answers. He makes her think it out and this has taught her a lot about being responsible for her own work. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that this has only helped my daughter to learn to be more independent, tack on her responsiblities to learn, and do well! She's the one who won't listen to her parents, but takes everything Nathan teaches her and runs with it! A big, huge thank you to Nathan! I have been a tutor with Tutor Doctor for only a short time, but it has been one of the best jobs I've had! Competitive pay, make your own hours, decide how many clients you wish to take on, easy scheduling, the list goes on. The clients I worked with were specifically matched to me, so I was able to tutor the subjects I wanted with the students I wanted. Kimberly and Christine always answered any questions I had within a few hours and understood my schedule. Couldn't recommend working here or being a client enough!

My 13 year old daughter was really struggling in school with the transition from grade school to junior high school. I wish that I had reached out to Kim at Tutor Doctor right away. We struggled through 7th grade and then realized this year that we needed help. My daughter's tutor, Alexis, is amazing. She is helping my daughter get organized, get ahead of assignments. The other day after her session my daughter asked that I turn off the music in the car so she could tell me about how she learned how to do Pythagorean Theorem. She was so excited about math for the first time in her life. Her excitement and energy from her session with Alexis was everything a mom could hope for. Both Kim and Alexis are totally invested in my daughter's success in school and I know they is what she needs to feel good about school again. I hightly recommend working with them if your child is struggling, I just wish I called them a year ago.

She really helps my daughter organize and prioritize her assignments in all of her classes, and helps her start assignments that are giving her trouble. My daughters tutor Cydnee helped her get organized in all her classes in her new school, guided her through tough geometry homework and made required ELA reading fun. Cydnee arrived on time for every session and was very accommodating when changes needed to be made.
