Food was excellent and the vibe is great! Love the addition to the neighborhood. Service was excellent all the times I’ve been there so far. They were playing pleasant, not-to-loud music the first few times I went, but the last two they weren’t. Hope they’re able to bring it back soon because it really enhances the atmosphere when you’re sitting down for their excellent bottomless brunch mimosas 😍

Tu Madre is awesome! Our server Josiah set us up with free chips and guac, and the rest of the service was awesome too. Super friendly and helpful staff (I have a lot of dietary question so ask tons of questions). Good margs + heat lamps = happy Sammy!

Nice decor ambiance color scheme which roped me in

But $30 for a rice bowl w two eggs and avocado and beans is insane portion size is really skimped , better off getting cava or the taco stand by ralphs way more bettter tasting food for way less $$$$

Was so excited this place came to Brentwood. Great little place to walk up to and grab a quick bite and drink. Great food and service! Alex was amazing and so nice! It was the perfect place to catch up and have a drink

Amazing tacos!! I love the shrimp and the grilled fish, excited to try more and some of the plant based ones. They have a huge vegan selection. So happy that we finally have a spot here that isn’t yet another mediocre Italian restaurant in Brentwood, sorry not sorry.

Positives: Food was really good. Vibe is great. Service is friendly but everything is pretty much self serve.
Negatives: Pricey for a self service spot. Specifically the margarita drink was $16 for one cup, which was half ice. We ordered a bowl, 2 tacos, chips + guac, and 2 margaritas (wine based since no license). Total was $80 pre-tip. There are no menus for anyone waiting in line so it slows down ordering. Pastrami bowl was very good.
