Honestly, they don't deserve any stars. I have had nothing but problems with any distribution requests. They constantly tell you what you need, you provide it then they tell you they need something else. 3 different people will tell you 3 different things. They make up any excuse possible to get out if giving you YOUR money. You email and it takes a minimum of 24 hours for a response. Seriously? Are you telling me their customer service people only respond once a day? If I had some pull within the company, I would be pushing them to find a different company. I have been waiting since December 15, 2023 and all I get is ... Give us 3-5 business days. Do they know what they can do with their excuses?

What a total disaster. They have repeatedly told me that they will get back to me in 3 to 5 business days, and yet here I sit over a month later and my daughter is now without critical medications. I call, their phone number, wait on hold for extended periods of time, ask for a supervisor, and they tell me they don't have a way to connect me with a supervisor, that they can only pass along a note to them. They have no phone number that I can call, I just have to wait for the supervisor to call me back. I started out playing nice, being patient, trying to be understanding, but I'm past that point now. My wife is now looking for ways to go after Tri-Ad from a legal and regulatory standpoint. Stay away from this company if you care at all about your employees.

I used to not have too much trouble getting on the phone to talk with someone, now it's just ridiculous. Press 3 and you will get a call back in 1 to 2 days
I applied to get an early distribution to put a downpayment on my house that I bought and had asked repeatedly how much should be taken out in taxes so I wouldn't have to worry about it come tax time. Well they only took 10% out and now after doing my taxes, my tax preparer has told me that I now owe the Fed
$41,000.00!!!! You'd think that they would have agents that would know the simple math to calculate that out for you so that there is hopefully less chance to owe.

Absolutely avoid tri-ad for serious medical situations. As a cancer patient they're so unorganized and incompetent they caused my medical insurance to be shut off three times. The patient loses big time for their mistakes. I missed many important appointments and treatments because of them. Seems like it'd be easy and normal to transition from leave of absence to COBRA and back for a company who's job it is to do that is but they have no idea what's going on. They will literally kill you. Stay away.

If I could award 0 stars, I would. They dont even deserve 1 Star on their review. 17 years in the financial services industry, and never encounter a company with service this bad. In a word, pathetic. They honestly need to be reported to the Better Business Bureau -- perhaps even the ERISA regulators, given that they are a custodian for folks retirement assets and can't be bothered to answer the phone. Whomever runs this company doesnt care about the plan participants nor any attempt at what we all consider to be good customer service. Disappointing to see all the other reviews ALSO have the same poor experiences. Wake up TRI-AD -- do or do not, there is no tri.

If you are a company considering Tri-Ad, think again. There’s a definite lack of professionalism with these people and their systems. I recommend a full audit of their processes before letting them handle your money, or your employee's money. My experience with their customer service was terrible too. Could not reach anyone on the phone and no one responded to my email once they lost our business.

If your company employs these yahoos but they value your input, tell them to sever the business relationship asap. I talked anonymously with a person who worked at this company. They sell themselves on being small and focused, on being able to make quick decisions and will tailor their products to their customer's needs. They say they will be treat the Customer's Employees with dignity and fairness and will resolve issues immediately. HA! My source told me their information systems are decrepit, their billing systems are a joke, and their training programs are non-existent. They make up policy on the fly and my source wondered as to the legality of some of the answers provided. based off of my FSA problems and what this source says, tell your company to stay away, keep a detailed log if you have to deal with them, and do not work for them.
