Shannon is an extremely knowledgeable teacher and especially in the field of HVAC/R. I highly recommend taking his course his establishment has to offer. Whether you're a fresh out of high school kid who wants to get into a great trade, a home owner who would like to know more than just a thing or two(you’ll get a plethora of knowledge) and if you just want to go into a different career path. Remember, air conditioning and heating are not going away anytime soon. Come join, read up, have hands on interactions with general equipment, and come learn a trade here.

Shannon is a great communicator and excellent professor. He teaches the complexities of HVACR in an easy to understand way and gets your prepared to pass your EPA 608 and also would get a person ready to go into the HVACR field with a giant head start compared to the next guy. Well worth the money, and payment plans are available. If your taking care of your own equipment this is a must take course to be EPA 608 certified and to know how the HVAC systems wire up and the refrigeration cycle. You will definitely walk out of there knowing those two things very well, along with a hole host of other things concerning HVACR & even some new chapters on solar and new technologies. I highly recommend this class for anyone either taking care of his or her own systems or for anyone about to enter the HVACR field. It will give you a great amount of working knowledge and also provides plenty of hands of laboratory time.

Hands down the perfect class that works perfect for me. The class is 2 hours a day Monday -Thursday. The instructor is a prior Marine and has decades of experience in the HVAC field. Every day we go over the basic schematic of the HVAC systems. During this time we dive deeper into the system and it becomes more clearer everyday on how everything flows and what could be the problems. Just simply put an amazing class all the way around. I know I am learning more everyday I go and getting much better at the hand on task like brazing copper fittings. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all.

Trades academy was a really good school to go to. I went in with no knowledge at all and came out learning a lot. I would highly recommend for anyone that is wanting to get in to HVAC field or just wanting some knowledge as a home owner.
