My love for martial arts have driven my daughter to want to learn. My daughter Mila love this martial arts school and so do I. She comes home and show everyone what she had learned, and she practice sometimes. Master Kim & Master Park work really well with the kids. They give them guidance and discipline as needed. The instructors are helpful as well.

My son has been going to TMA for a month now and he loves it! Masters Park and Kim are very patient and gentle with him, while also teaching him a lot at the same time. My 4yo enjoys the classes so much and already aspires to join competitions someday.

Is this place even open anymore? I live nearby, never ever see people go in or out? I had a deputy black belt in Tae Kwon Do, been looking to start something again close by if possible. The website is dead.

We love TMA! Master Kim and Master Park consistently show that they truly care about the children. They maintain control of the class in a firm, calm, and sometimes humorous manner. The kids learn discipline, yet at the same time have fun, and never feel talked down to. The children are clearly instructed and frequently encouraged, and the entire energy of the class is very positive. I cannot overstate how impressed I am with how well these two Masters handle and interact with the children.

The staff is also amazing! The assistant instructors are awesome, especially Instructor Hannah, who has so much energy and a talent for working with children. Margie, the office administrator is caring, and extremely passionate and knowledgeable about TMA, as her children grew up attending classes here. She cares about the children, and even contacted me to ask how my son was feeling when he was out sick.

My son is learning focus, self-discipline and getting exercise, while having fun with his classmates. Overall, we couldn't be happier with TMA!

Master Kim and Master Park are the best professional of taekwondo also outstanding with the kids training and they make sure that the kids Really focused in their self defense classe. My son was here from early January til end of March and I have nothing but amazing things to say about TMA. I noticed right away a change in my son. He became more confident in himself. Unfortunately, we had to let go of TKD because his soccer team transitioned onto having practice four days a week, which meant we had to give up a sport. My son chose soccer. BUT that choice was completely out of his own preference and as a mom I have to go with what he loves more! If it were up to me, I would have loved to keep my son in the program. Master Kim and all the employees are so welcoming. They say hello to all the kids by name which lets you know they care about them and treat them with so much kindness and respect. I just want to say thank you to Master Kim! He was very accommodating and understanding to our sudden change. If you’re looking for somewhere safe, welcoming, and fun for your kids to learn Tae Kwon Do. I highly recommend TMA!

TMA Martial Arts is more like a family. We recently relocate to Streamwood, so it was a very challenging change for my 8 year old son. He was also having a hard time at school (behavior). I start looking for sports activities, so I can keep him busy and also to improve his self esteem. And thats when we found TMA. Since the first time we walked into the door, I knew we were in the right place. After the first free lesson I saw in my son's face a big smile ...Instructors and staff are just the best!!!
