My kid just wrapped up summer program with this organization a week and a half ago and although it had potential... it disappointed. There was a toxic 18-19 year old program leader named Ms. Chelsea' who ruined it for my kid and all the other kids in the classroom that were not black. This program leader projected and lashed out her own past hurts and victim hood with race onto these kids. She called my kid a racist for accidentally calling another black student by the wrong name (even though they were sisters, dressed alike down to the hair and fake eyelashes). Another Hispanic kid who was just being silly and making monkey sounds by himself in the yard got yelled at by Ms. Chelsea and she called him a racist and accused him of making those sounds to provoke the black kids - my kid told me he was by himself. She also told another Hispanic kid that "Hispanics didn't know what racism was that only black people knew what racism was." Ms. Chelsea shouldn't be working with people (much less children) and needs to get help for her racist and biased attitude. This happened at Mayfair Jr High School, Lakewood. Thr site director was a Mr.Jackson and my kid had no issues with him or the other program leaders. Unfortunately, my kid and the other kids didn't report Ms.Chelsea, because they didn't want any trouble... they were all in the same classroom with her and didn't want to get separated either. I told my kid it was a mistake to not speak up until after the program had ended and that she needs to be less tolerant of toxic people in her settings. I will be contacting Think Together.

This program had the worst people in charge. They came into my daughters school for after school care. Not only were the daycare licenses not correct, they quit less than a week giving parents no notice. Then to top it off they refused to give refunds. Endless emails to the Director Michelle Vasquez over six weeks and I still never got a complete refund.
They tend to over promise and under deliver. Pretty sad when they rip off single parents.
