We just left and had the best time! Mark and the staff were amazing. They showed our boys various activities, gadgets and tricks. They were very knowledgeable and so interactive with our entire family. We had kids ages 4-11 and everyone was beyond entertained. It was a great break from the snow! We would definitely come back. Thank you!

This place was amazing. My 6 year old loved it. We made slime, had balls hover and race, shot rockets, made houses, and more.

Staff was active and very helpful. They seem to be constantly moving around making sure everyone is ok and knows how the exhibits work.

I was there for their New Year's celebration so it was crowded. My only complaint is the place is a victim of its success.

We entered using our ASTC membership from another museum.M so it was free for us. Our kids loved the space and Mike who volunteers his time entertaining the kids. They have an outdoor space that could use a little more decoration. The inside exhibits are also pretty nice and educational. The whole place is kind of small but the entrance fee is also cheap or free in our case. Worth a visit if in town.

The grounds are beautiful and the inside is a playground of tinkering, science, creativity, and so much more. I wish they had something like this in our town! We visited while on vacation and it was worth every penny. My kids are 20 months, 7, and 9 and it excited ALL of them. They played for hours.

Absolutely awesome museum. My kids loved all of the exhibits, and especially Ms. Heather's experiments.

We spent about half the day here before catching an afternoon flight out of town and it was perfect to let them have time to roam and explore.

The Powerhouse is a fun and educational place for kids to interact with a variety of engaging exhibits. Grownups have plenty of space to tour most of the exhibits and interact and learn right along with the kids. Exhibits change from time to time and they offer a variety of fun programs with a variety of focuses, so check out their website to see what's available when you plan to go. They're also part of the ACM reciprocal network for children's museums as well as the ASTC passport program, so if you're visiting the area and have passes from either of those organizations you'll find the Powerhouse to be very welcoming.
