Winemaker and owner Ben Parsons ("The Englishman") is a fellow cricket tragic who studied Oenology at the University of Adelaide's Roseworthy campus, a region that I am very familiar with as an ex-Adelaide lad.

Ben was a fabulous Host, who gave us great insight into how his wines are produced, and how and why he offers so much variety.

Some of the best wines that we have tasted anywhere.

The Ordinary Fellow is a 'must visit' for anyone visiting Palisade.

We joined the Wine of the Month Club, naturally!

This is a great addition to an already great little pocket of Palisade. Love that there is now a winery, a brewery, and a distillery all grouped together. We loved the wine and the vibe and the food truck was awesome too! Very cool place!

This new winery is refined and definitely gives a modern feel. Very spacious even when there’s a bunch of people. They have games to past the time and of course a ping pong table! The wine selection is limited since they are new but definitely worth checking out. The Riesling is sweet and crisp. Albariño has an amazing apricot aroma and very delicious. The rosé was fruity with an earthy finish. My favorite was the red blend with nice bold and darker cherry blend flavors. Overall great experience. The staff will really explain what flavors stand out in the wines. Great new winery. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a modern feel and a great time out. Thank you for your service and keep up the great work!!

Wonderful new addition to peach street! Super cool industrial building with historical significance to the area. An absolutely gratifying place to hang out and enjoy a glass of wine with beautiful views of the Grand Mesa. All the wines are delicious. Definitely make sure to stop in here and check out their interesting labels and play a game of ping pong.

My husband and I stopped in the Ordinary Fellow winery and tasting room in Palisade with our little one on a Monday afternoon in late January and really enjoyed our time here. Visiting in the off season means less crowds and more time with the winemakers! Karo, one of the owners, was pouring wines and was absolutely a delight to chat with. It was so fun learning about the history of the winery in Palisade (fairly new - but if you’ve ever heard of the Infinite Monkey Theorem in Denver, you’ll know their background!). We ended up buying the petit verdot - really unique and flavorful. Our timing didn’t quite line up with their eatery - Le Snack - but would love to come back again and try the food. Definitely will be visiting whenever we’re back!
