My daughter has really enjoyed taking piano lessons in a group setting with Ms. Esther. She’s patient with her students and encourages them to participate in recitals a couple times per year. She’s also flexible when make up lessons are needed.

My kids have been learning piano from Mrs. Esther Lennard for 4 and 3 years. She is very good at teaching and has always been very encouraging and patient with students.

She encouraged my kids to participate in the “American Grands” twice and helped them prepare for the fantastic event where they performed with 23 young musicians on stage in front of hundreds of people!

She is great at arranging performances and recitals (solo, duet, ensemble, etc.) for her students throughout the year, making my kids more comfortable to perform in front of audience.

My daughters are having fun learning! They have been students of Ms. Esther for a little over 2 years now. They enjoy the group lesson setting. Each year Ms. Esther has planned 2 or so recital opportunities, including some where they can play as duets/trios/etc. It’s great that they have a chance to perform and be in front of people. I asked my daughters for what they liked. One said she likes when one week a song is new and “not good” and then the next (with practice of course) it’s sounding good! The other said she likes it when they “get” a song and then there’s always a new one to start. The pace works well for their learning.

She has been a great teacher for my daughter, making learning the piano easy for her. Esther even helped my daughter learn music for the film she was in and needed to memorize 3 Chopin songs for.

My kids have been taking piano lessons with Mrs. Lennard for more than 2 years. My oldest has really grown in her piano playing. To the point that she plays very often as our church pianist. My oldest daughters have been able to participate in different recitals. They love going to their class. We used to go somewhere else for piano classes and one of my daughters struggled a lot, she eventually told me that her teacher was rude to her during class, to the point where she made her cry during class. To me, that was a big disappointment. I can tell you that anyone can teach piano but you also have to have a heart to teach it and love to teach others. Working with their different levels. Mrs. Lennard can definitely work with different levels. Also, very patient with her students. I would definitely sign up my kids and look no where else.

I had the privilege of being taught by Esther Lennard for 12 or so years.
From my experience with Mrs. Lennard, she has always been very thorough, patient, and thoughtful while teaching.
Mrs. Lennard provided me with a well-rounded musical education including classical, sacred, and accompaniment styles. She taught me invaluable skills such as playing by ear, sight-reading, theory, and performance etiquette.

Mrs. Lennard was always great at scheduling performances and recitals for her students making us more comfortable and ready for whatever occasion was coming up. She helped me to prepare for and thankfully win multiple first place awards in various competitions.
Without her tutelage, I would never have attempted to achieve what she encouraged me to.

I count it a blessing to have been taught by Mrs. Lennard and cherish the skills that I have learned from her. I would recommend Esther Lennard without hesitation to anyone looking for a piano instructor.
