This review is for the NEW OWNERS. Sonam and her family are so genuine and caring, you can tell that early childhood education is a passion of theirs, and that they truly care about children. This is also evident from the many positive reviews for their other daycare business that specifically mention Sonam. Sonam has great plans to improve the experience at the Little Farm School in the upcoming years, and I can't wait to see what she does with the place.

The new owners walked into an impossible situation, and have done admirably dealing with it. Sonam quickly found qualified and quality teachers to take over when staff walked out. She was able to do so because of her existing connections in the childcare community. I am happy with the new teachers. I would love to bring my youngest back to the Little Farm, or any school run by Sonam, when she is old enough.

I wish we had never come to the Little Farm Preschool. It started out fine, but then the original owners of the school abruptly sold the entire preschool mid-way through the school year, causing a major disruption to the staff and students. They also took the animals with them, defeating the "farm" aspect of the school. They sold the school around February, 2025. So any reviews posted prior to this date should probably be disregarded. Margo and Chrissy do not own the school anymore and have nothing to do with it.

After a couple of months under the new ownership, reportedly due to the behavior of the new owners and safety concerns about the new owners, all three of the existing teachers (that our children knew and loved) quit with 5 weeks left in the school year. This is obviously a huge disruption and quite upsetting to the children.

The new owners very quickly hired two new "teachers" and had them starting within a week of the previous teachers quitting. I cannot imagine there was enough time for an adequate background check or vetting of these two new employees. The owners were desperate to hire anyone just to keep the school open.

The owners are also extremely defensive about the whole situation and refuse to accept any blame or issue any sort of apology or reassurance that the safety concerns in question would be addressed and fixed.

The whole environment and vibe of the school is now just negative and toxic so we pulled our child from the school.

The owners are also refusing to issue a tuition refund for the last month of school.

My oldest attended three years ago, and my middle child went last year. My youngest will go next year. We’ve had wonderful experiences with The Little Farm Preschool. The bucolic setting adds to its charm, but it’s the teachers that make the school magical. They really care about the kids. I loved that my kids got to play outside rain or shine while having access to a comfortable classroom (which forest preschools don’t offer). I think attending this preschool is a gift I can give my kids - they get to explore and play in a great environment. They didn’t spend a lot of time on worksheets, but they nonetheless developed skills that prepared them for kindergarten.

I highly recommend the little farm preschool. My son absolutely loved it and as a mom I felt comfortable knowing that he was safe and well taken care of. I love that they get them outside no matter if it’s raining and that they constantly rotate toys and do new activities daily. My son learned so much and he made such great connections while there. He’s off to kindergarten next year or he’d be back for another year at the little farm. Shoutout to the incredible teachers, Miss Chrissy, Miss Mikaela, Miss Stephanie, Miss Emily and Mrs. Margo.

This is my oldest sons second year at Little Farm and we absolutely love it. My middle son is already registered for next year. The teachers are caring, engaging and intuitive. Every time I drive up the driveway to school, I'm reminded how amazing the location is. I wish I could attend Little Farm! My oldest son loves to build and they have helped facilitate his interests as well as introduce him to new skills. We will be attending Little Farm as long as possible.

I am so thankful that we found this amazing preschool! My daughter is just finishing her first year and absolutely loves going to school each day. She has learned so much academically, socially, and physically. The teachers at the Little Farm are thoughtful, caring, and really tailor learning to your child’s needs. I love the atmosphere of this school because the kids not only learn in the classroom, but get to spend so much time outside, with animals, etc. I’m excited to get to spend another year at Little Farm for pre-k.

Being new to the Maple Valley area, we were unsure where to begin our preschool search. When we found out about and then made a visit to The Little Farm Preschool in July, we were beyond happy that they had a spot for our daughter; we knew this was exactly where we wanted her to learn and grow. This was her first year outside of family care and she thrived. Each day, Ms. Margo, Ms, Chrissy, and Ms. Krista show the kids they care and that learning should be hands on and fun. Safety is a high priority and lots of attention goes into meeting the needs and interests of each child. We will miss this place for sure ❤️
