This place is a little gem in the Northwest Suburbs. I discovered on an impromptu Friday night when a group of my friends went to see a comedy show. The tickets were very inexpensive, byob, and the comedians were all great. Highly recommend especially if you are looking for something different to do on a Friday night.

I will give 10 stars if I can. This unique learning experience is set up to break you out of your own shell and to build confidence you never knew you had through creative process. The director, Kim Hiller-Green, is mater at her craft yet so kind and gentle with kids. My kids have been going to the Laughing Academy for several years now and they love every minute of it. We recently had a birthday party and they were so accommodating and friendly. The little touch of decorations they put says a lot about how much they care for their students. You will not regret putting your child in this program or working with them for your unique party ideas.

If you're looking for something different and fun in the suburbs, this place is a must! They have live stand-up comedy almost every weekend with some really well-known comedians stopping by, and it’s BYOB, so it’s easy on the wallet. Tucked right here in Glenview, it’s perfect for date night or a fun night out with friends. And when the comedy wraps up, they kick off karaoke, so the night doesn’t have to end when the show does!

We had an amazing night at the Laughing Academy in Glenview! The comedians were hilarious, the owner Kim was so warm, and after the show people hung back for Karaoke. It’s a great place to check out for a fun night!!!

We ran into a mom who recommended the Laughing academy for birthday parties and classes and I am so grateful to her. Honestly, I am so thankful to her. My daughter had her 8th birthday celebration here and it was amazing. Not only did the kids have a great time but the adults enjoyed the kids performance a lot. My daughter told me it was her best birthday celebration yet and a lot of kids since then have been planning to have her birthday here. Kim and her husband went out of their way to help. Kim made the kids feel comfortable, the games were so imaginative and fun. Since then my daughter has also attended school’s out camp here. Every time, my daughter asks me when she is coming back. Cannot say enough good things.

Hi I'm Jackie, and I'm 9 years old and I love the Laughing Academy. I've been with the Laughing Academy for as long as I've been able to get up onto stage and act. I always will volunteer to play a game. And I will keep acting in the Laughing until I'm too old and once I'm to old I'll help teach.

Laughing Academy is an awesome incubator of comedy. The classes for kids are things I wish were available when I was younger. Add to it, that there are evening shows for adults on select nights. It really one of the best spots for embracing the funny in life no matter your age.
