We found the Hydrant from their wonderful work with the animal shelter where they not only welcome dogs to play and promote them for adoption, they dig deep and donate to help long-timers get exposure and give adoption perks to new homes. So, we knew we had the right place with heart and a deep love for animals. After adopting a 100# dog from owners in crisis (the dog's third home at one year of age, we are the fourth), the Hydrant was instrumental in helping us give this boy the energy outlet, socialization and structure he needed to overcome his bounce-around start. He is a regular at Doggy Day Care and he LOVES it there. While boarding three dogs, an unexpected medical event happened with our old dog. It was in that moment that we really were the recipients of the care and love of Spencer and all at the Hydrant. They even drove him to the vet for us and, sadly, we ended up losing him and theHydrant team gave us flowers, a card signed by the whole team and big hugs and shared tears. When you're away, this is a family to care for your pets. We adopted another dog from whence our older dog had been adopted and she is now a part of the pack at the Hydrant. As a 9 month old puppy who grew up in a shelter, she was a bit nervous at first. They quickly brought her out of her shell. This is a real gem for doggy daycare and for boarding. We love that they play during the day and are only kenneled at night when boarded. We look forward to having the pups there for years to come.

My pup LOVES The Hydrant! She is a young energetic Labrador who has a jolly good time whenever she visits and plays. The facility is clean and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and caring. It’s a win-win for dogs and their owners!

This is the only place we will board our dog now. If that's not saying enough, I don't know what else to tell you. I think our dog might be happier here than at home. She now knows what the building looks like and gets super stoked to come back when she sees us pulling up. I love that they have addon options to take the dog out for a long hike every day. Our muttface is super active, and gets to be a royal pain if she isn't taken out for at least five miles per day.

Each time we've boarded her, she comes back to us happy and tired from playing with other dogs, and that makes me as a dog parent rest easier while we're gone.

Spencer and his team of sitters are the absolute best! My lab pups are well socialized and have been developing confidence while in his care. They love playing with all the member dogs. Spencer is always there so he helps to identify problems or concerns and can help train the owner too.

First time EVER boarding our two dogs and it was the best experience. I love the facility, employees and space.. .so much space for the dogs to not be cramped up, no matter the weather. Will most definitely use the Hydrant for all future boardings.
