I had my wedding at Hudson Gardens, specifically in the Rose Garden and Bloom Room, on September 1st. The venue was absolutely beautiful - the flowers were in full bloom, the fountain was flowing, and everything felt magical. Erin Smith, our coordinator, was fantastic; she was incredibly helpful, responsive, and friendly. She promptly answered all my emails and even guided us through a tour of the venue options.

Our reception took place in the Bloom Room, one of the newer spaces. It has a spacious circular layout with garage doors that can be opened to let in the fresh air. It features a stunning circular light hanging from the ceiling, complemented by wall sconces that allow you to choose the light color - perfect for setting the mood during the reception’s dance party.

During Christmas time they decorate the gardens with a large amount of glorious lights. The whole family enjoyed walking the loop a couple times!

Pick a nice (not too cold) night to explore in December.

12/21/24- This was my first time here and we went to see there Christmas lights. Things started going wrong as soon as we got there. On their website it said that in person ticket sales started at 4:30pm, but when we got there they told us that ticket sales wouldn't open until 5pm which was the same time the event was supposed to open. Then we went into the gift shop to see if we could use the restroom, but they told us we had to use the port-a-potties back out front. A place should have easy access for restrooms, and they could have easily roped off the restrooms behind the gift shop for people to use before they open for the night. One of the port-a-potties was supposed to be ADA, but ADA ones aren't really that accessible even though the manufacturers try. Not to mention clean issues when compared to normal toilets which can impact people with certain issues. This is a good example of a place "trying" to do the bear minimum to meet customer needs without meeting those needs. I was sad that they didn't have actual tickets for you to keep as a souvenir and they have an app thing which is an issue to download. The lady let us skip downloading the app and called the front gate to let them know we were coming. Too many businesses are going to apps and phones only hold so much. Businesses need to stop focusing on apps so much. Once inside things were ok. For people with walking issues it took us about 1.5 hours to get around the whole thing, but able bodied people could have done it in about half an hour, so this had me question their price to lights ratio which seemed high when compared to other displays around the city. Also there were sections of lights that weren't working. The drinks at the coffee shop were ok priced, but not that good and the brownie was gross. Their alcohol drinks were way overpriced for the super small size. I would say the best part of the event was the make your own s'mores for $5 which let you make 2 stores. I gave this place a try even though my friend had major issues trying to have her wedding there back in 2023. This place has potential, but current is just lacking in everything they are doing.

Hudson Holidays is always a treat. Beautiful light displays and festive Christmas music made the Gardens a fun holiday evening for the family. They served hot cider, hot cocoa with whip cream and other beverages. The giant might up tic tac toe board and light maze were favorites. Lots of great spots to take photos. Short line to see Santa while we visited.

We specifically came to Hudson Gardens for the Magic of the Jack-o-lanterns event. I was super excited for my kids to experience this, and I will say the pumpkin carvings and set ups were cool. When looking at the YouTube video online however I was under the impression that the dinosaur sculptures would be 3D standing pieces and most everything was on a backdrop and sometimes hard to make out. I will say the variety of food, drinks and snacks was nice! I had an ice cream churro dessert that was delicious. However where they had the food and tables to eat were right next to the port-a potty and overflowing trash cans, that made the experience less than appetizing. I live in Fort Collins and traveled an hour and a half for an event that took maybe 45 minutes to get through. I’d say it was not worth the trip for how far it was into Denver, and may be more worth it for those who live closer. I did like how they offered s’mores, I felt like that was a nice touch for kids to be able to do. On the YouTube video it does show a moving Ferris wheel which gave us the impression that there would possible be one to ride while we were there and the one that they had was a small non moving Ferris wheel that just lit up. I thought it was cool, but would not go again.

I run a local non-profit (Cycling Without Age Littleton) and Hudson gardens has been amazing in their partnership with us. They have allowed us to take our riders through the gardens to enjoy the beauty of the flowers and nature. It is a highlight for many of the passengers.

This year they allowed us to bring riders through to see the Christmas light show on a low sensory night. Every passenger had an amazing time and loved it.

We are so grateful for a beautiful place like Hudson gardens to partner with us to help older adults and those with challenges have access to the outdoors.

Even though it was an insanely crowded experience, we had a great time at Magic of the Jack o’ Lanterns. I went in with low expectations and came out pleasantly surprised; there were plenty of incredible pumpkin installations as well as lots of food and themed drinks available. I’m not sure I would go for full price (I got 50% off tickets), but I’m glad I went once.

My first time at this venue was Saturday October 12th 2024 for the magic of the jack-o'-lanterns event. The event was really neat but it was majorly packed. Very rude people that would stop abruptly while walking in front of you or would just blatantly jump right in front of you while you were looking at the pumpkins to get a picture. That or people would be in a large group of maybe seven or eight people and would walk shoulder to shoulder down the designated aisles very slowly and again would stop abruptly so you could not just walk around them which was extremely frustrating. Other than the people making it a less than desirable experience; The event itself was pretty cool. If you are looking to go to this event I recommend buying your tickets days or weeks in advance to get a good deal. Buying tickets on the day of they could be sold out for specific time slots or they could be asking an arm and a leg. I went with my significant other but I would imagine it would be much more fun for the children. Seeing the pumpkins themselves I would give it a 4 out of 5 rating.
