I cannot say enough about this school. My son just finished the 3's class and the social skills and relationships that he has made have been transformative. The teachers truly understand child development. They treat the children with the utmost respect and in return the children learn that same respect. I only wish my older son had the opportunity to attend this school ( we recently moved here). The school has the resources of the Bay Area Discovery Museum and is lots of fun as well. They often take walks to the beach to play, explore the woods around them and spend lots of time outdoors. It is truly a pleasure to be a part of this community!!

We are so happy to have found Discovery School! Hidden in the Bay Area Discovery Museum, Discovery School is a truly wonderful place that embraces exploration and cultivates a love of nature and science. The teachers work hard to create a structured yet creative space for the children to grow. The school takes full advantage of the museum and fort Baker creating a once in a lifetime experience for the students and their families.

This school has been amazing for my kids. The students are encouraged to pursue their own interests, make positive friendships, and show kindness and responsibility. Even more impressive is how creative my kids have become with their play, their problem solving techniques, and their artwork! The teachers and head of school are incredibly supportive of both kids and families...Plus the location and involvement with the museum is amazing!!!!

Just a magic place for young people to learn and grow. The developmental approach, teacher quality, and boundless resources of the Discovery Museum campus make for a stand out pre-school experience. Plus- where else do you get to watch ships passing under the Golden Gate during morning drop off!
