I recently graduated from the Ultrasound program provided here @ The Aquarius institute. This review is going to be nothing but honest . And if ultrasound is something you are interested in doing . . Do it !

First off this is an accelerated program , 18 months . Meaning you have to put the time into this but more importantly make the time to succeed. The teachers here are great , however since it’s accelerated we don’t have time to re go over information given in lecture , if you miss a day you will feel it .

You need to read , write down notes , re read and re do your notes to understand the concept and protocols that go into place here. I wish I would have done this more during my class times to help me understand the clinical portion more . However with that being said although I was not to confident with understanding the material ( I’m more of a hands on learner ) prior to starting clinicals the ultrasound Instructors at the clinical site made everything make sense and come full circle with what we had been learning classroom wise.

I want to give a HUGE thank you and shout out to Suhair & Nahid ( The ultrasound diagnostic techs ) for changing my life. They guide you through a very detailed abdominal and echo protocol , go over pathology , quiz you on what exactly it is that you are looking at to help make sure we understand what it is we are actually seeing and how to rule out any abnormalities or pathology . These ladies were patient , kind , loving , and caring . If I could do clinicals all over again I would I miss them so much ! They were truly the best part of the program .

Their echo protocol for example is over 75 images ! This may seem overwhelming and intimidating but trust me it’s better to know more to help prepare you for the field . I’m happy to say I was able to find a job right after graduation ( February 2025 ) And I am so grateful for their protocol ! I use it for my scanning at work ! The company I’m with tells me they love how clear my images are detailed the reports come out , and I would not have been able to do this with out Suhair & Nahid . ( I still hear them in the back of my head at times when scanning my patients “ center the image , increase the gain , what’s this , what’s that ) Right now my protocol is only 20 images compared to the 75+ we learned at school however every clinic, , hospital & mobile company are different , but with comparing learning their protocol to what i do now it is truly a walk in the park . And again this is all thanks to them .

I see reviews about us not being accredited. You are able to take your SPI right after physics . If you pass that , that makes you eligible to take your ARDMS . After clinicals you can then take your CCI . Most places say they want the school to be accredited, but trust me if you can get your credentials and you know how to scan and rule out pathology and abnormalities you will be hired .

Take advantage of the clinical portion and pick Suhair’s and Nahid’s brain , they will give you everything you need , but only if you show up and put the time into it.

I am currently a student at Aquarius Institute. I am in the ultrasound program. I just finished my classes and I am about to start my clinical and personally I feel ready for my clinical because at Aquarius the professors help you understand the material and are very knowledgeable. I want to give a major shout out to Dr.Tehmina, I had her for my physics & echo class and honestly she is an excellent professor she guided us and took care of us like her own. She help me understand and pay attention at all times, always kept the class entertained and motivated us to always do more because she puts her all in her class. I am truly happy I had her twice.

Dr. Tehmina specifically has been a huge inspiration. She is an outstanding teacher and is very passionate about her students. You can tell she cares deeply about our education and is truly committed to preparing us for the boards. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to learn from her. She is the best

Aquarius Institute is a great school to advance yourself into the healthcare field. I am a current student in the ultrasound program only a few weeks away from starting my internship. The program is fast paced but you have great professors who really want to see all of their students succeed. Dr. Tehmina especially has gone above and beyond for her students. She has a great teaching style providing pictures/videos ,multiple examples, visual descriptions, her own experiences while working in the field, and creating her own material to help students. She has been more than helpful to not only pass the class but also for board exams. With my overall experience with the school I would definitely recommend it.

I'm currently a ultrasound student and my overall experience at Aquarius went quite well. I came here with no medical background. From the classes to the instructors, I've learned a lot more than I expected. I recommend this school if you're interested in the medical field but want a fast course that gets you where you need to be in the next year or so.

Aquarius Institute has been a great school and experience. I am currently enrolled in the Ultrasound program and soon will start clinicals. It is a fast passed program therefor it is very stressful, but the instructors are passionate and knowledgeable , particularly Dr Tehmina.
Dr. Tehmina is an exceptional instructor who goes above and beyond making sure we are learning the material. Her teaching style is very organized and is designed to prepare us for the boards as well as for our future.
Her dedication and passion for teaching makes a significant difference in my learning experience. She is always pushing us and is evident she wants us to succeed in our career/future.
