Took a GIAC exam here recently. The lady at the front desk was a sweetheart and made the whole process painless. The monitor was fairly large, which was great for the interactive VM portion of the test. They even put mints and noise blocking ear covers/plugs at each station, which was a nice touch. I would recommend testing here.

This is for anyone seeing all the heavily negative reviews recently.
The owner passed away and they're figuring things out.
Scheduling a test and not being able to take it sucks, but get over it.

This is the best testing center I've ever been too. It's small, it's quiet, it's quick, and friendly.
Don't listen to the huffity reviewers that can't empathize with a business losing its owner.

Loved this place, tbh. Proctor was friendly and very accommodating - and the room was calming. Only 3 spots per room, unlike the NCEES sites where you're in a large room with 10-15 others.

I've picked through some other reviews, and they seem to have taken a lot of feedback into consideration. IE, monitor sizes, earplugs, ect.

Mints were a nice touch. I'll certainly be back to this location for future tests!

I arrived several minutes early to my appointment and the proctor was happy to accommodate me. The test environment was clean, quiet, organized, and comfortable. They provide pencils, a basic calculator, dry erase markers to use with a piece of laminate, both earplugs or muffs, a cardboard E6B, plastic plotter, and pieces of scratch paper. The office style chairs were very comfortable, if the FAA tests were any more boring I would have fell asleep midway through my 2.5 hours of allotted time.

From a one star reviewer named Business Owner, ya sure that’s your name bud “the short guy put me right next to the window with all the noise and there was nobody there when i arrived at the site to take the test. bad customer service”.........
This happened to me too but I actually loved the corner seat and he offered any seat I would like, the so called “short guy” was also very friendly and had great customer service skills. I’m certain if Mr. “Business Owner” would have asked him, he would have let him sit in a different spot. Also, this exam site of at one of the busiest General Aviation airports in the country so don’t get upset if you hear a plane or two! If it really bothers you could double up on the ear pro they provide.

Sure wish I would’ve read these reviews before driving down there. Scheduled on the PSI website last Thursday to take a test today (Tuesday). Showed up, door locked. Sign on the door says “no one here for 2 days”. No date though, 2 days from when? Ugh.

Written 4 PSI tests over the last 3 years or so here. Don't mistake the other PSI test center on Peoria, this is the one you want. The place is what you would expect, a set of cubicles/chairs/and computer stations. It's clean, quiet, they are careful to follow test protocols... My only gripe is that I'd prefer bigger monitors, but I can accept it is very possible that they had to standardize on a specific size or approved model.

The staff (it may only be two people) are great.

Convenient location for FAA written exams at Centennial Airport. I've taken five different exams here and recommend it.
