This is a great place! It's full of beauty and such gorgeous flowers/plants!

My friends and I do a river plunge at least once a week in the summer and we had family photos here. This place is so gorgeous. I highly recommend visiting if you end up in Dunsmuir.

Came here for my kid's fishing birthday wish. There was a short trail from the parking lot to a quiet spot in the river, and it was shady. A train went by.

It smelled wonderful and something must be in bloom that I didn't see.

There were picnic tables and a BBQ and some people were enjoying lunch, family time, walking dogs.

Subtracted a star because the portapotty was so full one kid wouldn't use it and because there was a not-insignificant amount of dog poop on ground.

Like the place, the Mason property was here with a large house in the 50-60's. It must have been torn down. Great fishing access now.

Great spot !! Plenty of parking. Porto potty was passable. Seems to be a local favorite. When I went there was a dad and his 3yr old daughter, who had just caught a rainbow trout. A keeper no less! She was so excited! Kept picking it up and hugging it... I could have died she was so cute! Safe, fun & pretty clean, easy access to the river. Summer is not wasted on this town
