My daughter has really grown in her literacy these past two years at Sylvan. Reading was a struggle for her and she did not like to do it. With time and effort put in on both parties she now enjoys reading. Her confidence has soared. The other day after I picked her up from school, she grabbed her book out of her backpack and started to read (aloud). I never really thought I’d see that day. I’m overjoyed with her progress. We love Sylvan and the community they have built. They truly want your child to succeed. 100% recommend!!

Both my boys have been attending Sylvan now for about 9 months. they really enjoy the teachers and the methods in which they are helping them with their educational opportunity. The plans in place seem personalized for each on my boys and the meeting each month to check on progress helps me to understand how they are doing. We started taking our son to Sylvan about a year and a half ago to help with language and writing skills. He has improved greatly, and in our last parent teacher conference, one of his teachers even said that Sylvan has helped make a noticeable difference in his work. They help students with all subjects and will assist with any problem areas.

We have been going to Sylvan for maybe a year. It was highly recommended by others and that is why we chose Sylvan over other tutoring services. So far we have not been disappointed. The staff that runs it has been excellent, and my son feels at home there and enjoys going a few minutes early so he can wait on the comfortable sofa. I ask him every week if he is learning and whether or not it is helping him at school and he tells me yes.

Sylvan, Kathy and the teachers are wonderful. We are fortunate to have them tutor our kids. They are learning Math since they started attending Sylvan. They have gained their confidence, motivation and determination to solve math problems now. I recommend it to any parent who wants their kids to Excel with confidence.

We came to Sylvan at the end of my daughter’s second grade year. She had fallen behind in school, and because of that no longer enjoyed going to school. Every day was a struggle for us. Over the summer I saw a tremendous change in my daughter’s confidence, and I saw her love of learning return. After each session she was excited to share all the new things that she had learned with me. When she started third grade it was like a new child. Every day she was excited to go to school, and she was participating in her class more. I truly attribute this change to the educators at Sylvan. The communication between myself, my daughter’s teacher, and the Sylvan teachers was phenomenal. We had constant checkpoints to ensure that we were all on the same page. Sylvan was genuinely interested in my daughter’s success. It felt like we had a team of people on our side to help navigate her education which gave me peace of mind. At this point my daughter is caught up and no longer needs to attend Sylvan, but I will not hesitate to use them again if she falls behind, and more than likely will put her back in the program over the summer just to keep her ahead. I am so happy that we enrolled in their program. It made all the difference in our lives, and I will be forever grateful.
