The staff and flexibility has been very good. They are very good at sharing progress and ensuring my son is progressing. Our son has some special needs and they’ve accommodated for him well. Since going, he’s gained a lot of confidence, especially when he goes to his public school, and we’ve seen him make great strides and advancements in his writing and comprehension skills l as well as his math. He looks forward to going and they provide games and incentives to help keep him engaged. We’ve had to adjust our spending to afford the extra instruction but it’s been worth it to see how great our son has been doing.

My son Noah has improved tremendously since starting at Sylvan. Sylvan tested Noah in reading in December of 2023 he was reading at a kindergarten level he has now moved up to 1st grade level in which he is close to reading at a 2nd grade level . He is currently in 2nd grade and Sylvan has given him the tools he needed to help get to were he is at. It is definitely worth it I would highly recommend Sylvan.

Sylvan Learning Center proved to be a regrettable investment. Despite the seemingly positive monthly feedback during our meetings, my child's report card painted a starkly different picture. The touted progress was non-existent, and it's disheartening to realize that I wasted both time and money on a service that failed to deliver real educational benefits. The disparity between their optimistic updates and the disappointing reality on my child's report card speaks volumes about the lack of effectiveness at Sylvan Learning Center. Save your money and explore alternatives that genuinely make a difference.

Sylvan's style of teaching and philosophy is in line with our own. Our kids love the experience and has improved so much. We like that you conduct placement testing and teach according to the kids' needs. The parents conference every month is nice. We are able to monitor their progress. Sending our kids to Sylvan is a great opportunity for them and a good investment for their future.

I am very glad that we were able to utilize Sylvan Learning Riverside the past two years. During the pandemic my children were experiencing some learning loss. During their time with Sylvan they were able to progress their math skills. They will be returning to in-person traditional school and I feel confident that they will be ready for the upcoming school year. I was also impressed with communication (Fred and Marilyn) and the ability to work with our schedules.

Our son began kindergarten, the year schools shut down. Fast forward to his first grade year and enrolled in private school, he struggled with the work presented to him. We enrolled him into Sylvan, for reading and within a couple of sessions, his confidence improved. We are 100 hours in, now, and our kiddo is excited for his evening reading sessions. His teacher has noticed an improvement, the conference’s and communication are wonderful. Overall a really great program and worth the money.

My son started at the beginning of April and it has been amazing. This has been my sons 3rd place of tutoring and by far has is the best. Its a little bit more than the other places, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. If you want the best for your kids this is the place to be at. My son loves it so much and he has been improving in math in one month. Also I was extremely impressed with how Sylvan communicated with my sons teacher. No other place ever took the time to get on the same page with the teacher. I have been impressed and cant wait to see how much more my son learns. Thank you Sylvan...
