Sylvan Learning Center in Peoria,IL is a great place for kids to learn! My 5th grader had a whole bunch of learning deficits in math due to the online school structure during covid ( her teachers did really their best, but it was not an equal replacement of in-class education, particularly for elementary school kids) and missing a ton of classes because she got sick a lot. She started her math lessons in October 2024 at Sylvan Learning Center, and we immediately saw her improvement in math at school. Her teachers at Sylvan Learning Center are not only experts in math, but also they established a friendly learning environment so that my daughter did not get bored with 2- hours tutoring on Saturdays. Yesterday, her school teacher told her that she did excellent on the state math test! I Couldn't be happier ☺️ Sylvan Learning Center is absolutely highly recommended 👌

My daughter was having trouble with algebra. Her teacher didn’t seem to have much knowledge on how to teach algebra so we had to branch out of the school for help. We found Sylvan and the staff there are friendly and knowledgeable on the work she is doing. Her algebra grade has come up since she started. Hoping with their help she can get a better grasp on how to do the work.

The staff at Sylvan Learning are truly awesome, professional, knowledgeable and cared about my son's success and was very flexible with my schedule. They really focused and created lessons to get my son where he needed to be. I was always informed of my son's progress on a regular basis and his upcoming lessons.
My son has made tremendous progress in both Math and Science thanks to Sylvan Learning Center in Peoria. I honestly saw improvement within the first month of his sessions. His grade school teacher's also saw tremendous improvement. I really appreciated the time that was set aside for homework assistance (if it was needed). My son's grades have improved and he is more confident than ever. My experience with Sylvan Learning Center in Peoria was well worth the investment.

Sylvan makes learning fun! My son loves his teachers and looks forward to his sessions each week. This is huge for a kid who often complains about homework! Parents can see the customized learning plan unique to their child. Sylvan's program has the intuition to know if your child has mastered a skill or needs more time. Sylvan makes learning fun and keeps my son motivated. The teachers are wonderful and the director, Jana, takes a personal interest in each child. Jana, Clare, and Lyn are all wonderful assets to the Sylvan experience. I highly recommend Sylvan if you are looking for results you can see on paper and in your child. It is worth the investment. It will help your child build confidence in their abilities. Thankful for Sylvan!

Love Sylvan!! My son has been going there for help with reading and we've seen significant improvement. I would definitely recommend them if your child needs any help with school or a little more confidence. The teachers are wonderful and their curriculum works. My son loves going there and looks forward to it even after a full day of school.

I took my granddaughter out there too be tested for extra help in her studies.She is behind in learning. We went over her scores and then they explained too me what they can do too help her. However their prices are outrageous & I told them I'm low income single grandma trying too help my Grandchild get help in areas in her subjects she falling behind on. Also her mother is a single mother of two of children who is also low income & we can afford their prices. I asked about their scholarships if they had any no they didn't. So if your not rich or middle class don't bother. They won't help your children. I feel this is very sad just because we're low income & can't afford their help my Grandchild has too stay falling behind in school. They should have some type of scholarships for low income students and families that's looking for help get their children up too their education skills.
