In a worn down shopping center in Owasso and small building. I like that the area is open and you can see your child through the glass door but that's the only thing I like. Both my husband and myself get a weird feeling/vibe from the owner/manager guy. I've learned you have to trust your gut instincts when something feels off. I just get an off putting feeling like he puts on a "nice guy" show but is really not. The other tutors I've seen there also have awkward/weird personalities/vibes. They do not assign any practice or tips for stuff at home, 1 hour once a week is not sufficient with no assignments for at home. I was never told what my child was actually working on either. Was only ever told my child did good and all I've seen was my child on a tablet. I don't recommend and we found a different place for tutoring.

I visited the Sylvan Learning of Owasso to find out if they can help my son improve his reading comprehension skills. After a thorough conversation and explanation of their program and reviewing the assessments they gave him, I was convinced this was the place for my son. They have custom designed a learning process exclusively for his needs and not the needs of someone else. My son can get the personalized reinforcement he needs to boost his skills before advancing to the next grade in school.
The staff is professional and highly skilled. I am grateful for their program and their great care.

Our son entered Sylvan's program struggling with phonics and reading. The one-on-one attention he has received with the tutors at the Owasso location has transformed him and given him confidence in his academic abilities. The staff at this location - especially the director, Cathy - recognize and understand each child's unique abilities and struggles. I cannot recommend Sylvan Owasso enough, especially if you are a homeschooling parent and/or parent of a child with special needs. They will partner with you to make sure your child SUCCEEDS at his/her best!!

We started Sylvan this summer with our 9 year old son. He had a difficult time this past school year in the 3rd grade and we were referred to Sylvan. He has shown significant improvement with 4 hours of weekly tutoring this summer. He has even started to enjoy reading which is a complete turn around for him. We are very pleased with the staff and how accommodating the facility has been to work with our schedules. Our expectations have been exceeded with Sylvan in Owasso!

My grandson struggled with reading and with homework. After a few sessions with Sylvan teachers not only did he improve dramatically he really enjoyed going to Sylvan. The difference in his confidence and his reading skills really surprised me with as short a time that he had been going. love love love this place! It makes all the difference! Thank you Sylvan Owasso teachers!

So grateful for the team at Sylvan. There is a lot I can say about the progress we have experienced, the knowledge of the staff, the interaction and feedback that is always present and how very flexible they are with you since life happens - but I think the most important thing I can say is that my son comes home after Sylvan and is excited about his experience. Before Sylvan he had a lot of frustration and now he is on track, keeping up and confident !

After trying to set up lessons for one of my children, an extremely rude man just called and wouldn’t allow me to speak. He kept interrupting me while I tried to talk and actually hung up on me. I am absolutely shocked and can’t believe they would have someone like that working with the public. I have emailed corporate and I’m hoping they record phone calls so they can hear how “Mr. Martin” spoke to me today firsthand.

I took my Grand Daughter to Sylvan about 2 months ago and she loves the staff and she is reading much better and she has more confidence in herself. She is in the 3rd grade and she has to past the 3rd grade reading test before going on to the 4th grade and she was behind at the beginning of the school year. I believe with the help of Sylvan she will be passing the 3rd grade reading test. Thanks Glenda Bryant
