My child had been struggling with math in school so I decided to enroll my son in Sylvan Learning Center of Orange Park. The staff was highly knowledgeable, very friendly and professional. Katie walked us through the process and what to expect & within a few short weeks my son began to show marked improvements on his mathematics scores in school. He also gained a newly found sense of confidence in the subject of math. I received calls from his teachers expressing the improvement in his math skills. I am provided with regular updates on my child’s progress as well. The prices are affordable and fair for the services provided. I would highly recommend Sylvan Learning Center of Orange Park to any parent who has a kid(s) who is struggling academically. I am pleased with my experience so far.. My son has been attending for approximately 8 weeks. Thanks Sylvan Learning Center or Orange Park!!!

My son is in the 4th grade. He was having a some difficulty with math at the beginning of the school year and I didn’t want him to fall behind. I contacted Sylvan Learning in OP. They did an initial assessment to see which areas he needed help in. He went twice a week, an hour a day, for 5 months. They worked on core math and if he didn’t understand something they were working on at school, I would take a picture of his HW lesson and email it to them, usually the day before and they would work on it with him at his tutoring session. They were in contact with his math teacher at school also.

They have financing options available if needed, which was nice, especially if they are going to be going frequently and for a long period of time. It adds up, but was definitely worth it to us based on the success he had and it really built up his confidence. They have a reward system that the students earn points and can “buy” stuff with their points. There are usually 2-3 students per tutor. All the tutors were wonderful, pleasant and very qualified. I think several are retired teachers. They do multimodal learning, paper lessons, iPad, etc. It is very organized and they will work with you on times and rescheduling if needed. Katie, the manager of the OP office is professional, very nice, knowledgeable and organized. If I ever had any questions or concerns, she was always helpful and responsive.

In December/January my son was selected to try out for his school math team and placed in the top 6 for the math assessment in his grade. We are thankful to Sylvan for helping him achieve this and for helping him become a more confident student.

This facility is amazing! Everyone is incredibly kind and patient. The tutors are very engaging and truly care for the kids! They are willing to work with you and are very understanding! Great place and I cannot recommend it enough!
