We brought our son, and now our eight-year-old daughter’s been coming here for about two years. Of course Covid affected my daughters reading, comprehension and abilities due to the fact that the government shut down our schools for no reason the team at Sylvan is very very very patient very helpful. Very understanding the very good with our children. I trust our children with them. They’ve helped my daughter with her reading comprehension now she’s in the second grade and she’s caught up. We really appreciate the Sylvan team Invest in your children as much as you can. Sylvan is the way to go.

Sylvan is a excellent program for your child. My son started in the 4th going to 5th grade. He was on a 1st grade level in math when he started Sylvan. He was never able to receive a passing grade in math. He is now in the 6th grade and his 10 week report card showed him receiving a "B" in math, This is his very first time passing a math class since 1st grade. I strongly recommend them. Their staff works very well with their students and you build a strong relationship with them, They care. And they go up and beyond for their students.The coordinator Brian at the Beverly/ LaCienga location is always available and willing to try and meet any and all your needs, so that your child will succeed.Highly recommend them! Excellent program!

My child has been coming to this Sylvan location for a few years. She started here initially because she needed a little motivation on reading and writing. Over the years, Sylvan helped develop and promote her love for learning. She is an exceptional student and actually enjoys attending the Sylvan sessions because it challenges her and assists her growth as a student and writer. Sylvan is a great educational supplement for our child. The director Brian Hood is also easy to work with and attentive to the students needs.

My son has been at Sylvan for the last year and a half. I was apprehensive about trying tutoring, but Brian and the tutors have been a huge help. There's been such a big improvement! Amy, Steven and Larry and Ethan have been great. The location is now right near the Beverly Center. There's a parent's waiting room with a glass door if you want to wait during your kid's session. The tickets/prize incentives work better than I would have thought at motivating students. They have been very flexible with scheduling. I would use them again in the future. I usually find street parking nearby, but there is parking for a small fee.

My kids have been coming here for a couple months now. They have shown improvement in areas they were struggling in. I love how everything Sylvan has told me about my kids academic progress lines up exactly with what their teachers have told me. I definitely recommend this place to all parents who are either looking to catch their kids up or even looking to getting them ahead of the game. The staff is friendly easy to work with and really care about each individual child’s progress in their program!
