We’ve been attending Sylvan Learning Center for a few months now, as part of our home-school curriculum, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the progress both of my boys have made! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and genuinely interested in understanding our children's individual learning needs. My older son, who struggles with writing, has seen a significant improvement in his confidence in developing his writing skills. It's clear that Sylvan is committed to not only improving academic performance but also fostering a love for learning.I have highly recommended Sylvan to my homeschooling community

Our 1st grader was behind on reading and comprehension. Her confidence was very low. We started Sylvan in the 2nd quarter and by the end of the 4th quarter she was completely confident and scoring above average on all her tests. She truly looked forward to her 1 hour classes.

I homeschool my son and was having difficulty teaching Math. So I decided to go to Sylvan for his Math lessons after reading many reviews. I cannot recommend this place enough! The entire staff is warm and welcoming. Christina explained the entire program and offered many different payment options (including financing if you need it) and was willing to work out a schedule at two different locations if necessary. After the first lesson, I knew I had made the correct choice. My 6th grader has been going there twice week for over a month and his attitude towards Math has completely changed. He feels comfortable with ALL of the instructors (they rotate each lesson), says they get right to the point (which he likes) and they are patient when explaining formulas, so he's able to pick up on them right away. He's more confident in Math, is able to perform the work necessary for his grade level and overall has had a positive experience. He actually loves going and is excited about each lesson. What more could a parent ask for?! Highly recommend if you're child is struggling or if you're a homeschooling parent looking for a Math course.

I am new to the area - recently moved to LWR from Fairfield, CT. We always used tutors but never saw results or were able to track if it was working. We met Christina at Sylvan and learned about the Philosophy Sylvan uses and instantly loved it. My kids are 8/10 years old and they go Monday to Thursday and LOVE IT!! They ask me if they can go. They both are stronger at math and writing /reading. I am so blessed I met Christina and her staff of amazing teachers. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing atmosphere for learning. An excellent tutoring staff with a very warm and welcoming environment. The students work and reports could always be viewed online and it was a wonderful way to watch their progress.

This facility coordinator was clear and open about expectations both academically and financially. She reached out to my son's teachers asking for input on needs and adjusted his lessons based on that communication. I recommend this facility.
