I sent my daughter to this sylvan back in 2005 and it was amazing. I referred my son to take his there. As of now the testing was scheduled then reschedule because the person I spoke to said they only do scheduled appointments on Fridays, so it was scheduled on a Friday to be called and say oh no we’re closed on Friday we need to reschedule so it was then to be told the review will be done later in the week which was scheduled then a call made into sylvan with a message left asking about rescheduling only to get No call back. A confirmation r email then rearrange scheduling to be there and find out Sylvan without a response cancelled the appointment and didn’t reschedule until this morning after a call was made from my son to confirm it! It makes me see there has been such a change in sylvan that if something as simple as communication is going to be an issue, how is the tutoring going to be now?

Our 8th grader has been attending tutoring at Sylvan of Lake Mary for almost a year. This was his highest achieving school year yet. He received much needed remedial support in reading and homework help for Algebra that we just weren’t able to provide at home. William, the center’s director, made getting started easy. We really appreciated his flexibility and his quick responses when we needed to adjust our child’s schedule. We would highly recommend Sylvan of Lake Mary!

Sylvan has been great for my son so far. He fell behind during the pandemic due to virtual learning not working for him. They walked us through how everything works and were very polite and took their time to make sure the customized the learning plan specifically for my son. He has loved going, which really surprised me, so that fact alone has impressed me. I highly recommend them!

I'm a sophomore in high school who started Sylvan a couple months ago, and I've seen great improvement in myself. I started to come here just to get an extra step up in my grades because I started to slack this year. I've improved a lot and also developed a great relationship with most of the staff that work with me. I feel that I can go to them whenever and never have to shy down. Soon I'll be starting SAT prep and can't wait to see my improvement in results.

Sylvan Learning of Lake Mary has had such a great influence on my academics. When I first came last year as a sophomore, I came for help in my two hardest classes: biology and algebra 2. In those classes, after I got the extra help from sylvan, my grades went from C's to A's and B's. Now I am a junior taking the SAT Prep course where they give me helpful tips and strategies for the test and my scores have already gone up from the short time I've been taking this course. Everyone at Sylvan is very friendly and helpful and it's a great place to go to if you need help in academics!
