I wanted to update my review: My child is consistently making progress. The confidence level in math, in particular, was a struggle. I decided to dig deeper to see if there were other learning discrepancies, and of course, there were. The staff, (Elizabeth), has gone beyond to assist me in pinpointing additional areas of learning that needed to be addressed. Her love for teaching, forward progression, and educating children on their level is beyond reproach. Sylvan staff is dedicated to getting your child to the finish line.

At Sylvan (particularly in High Point) the people who lead as well as tutor the students put a lot of heart into their students. Each kids needs are looked at carefully and is planned out thoroughly for each. My son has been attending since April of this year and not only have we seen improvement but most of all his confidence has risen 10 fold. The tutors are willing to work with your child's school and specifically their teacher to make sure you all are the same path in helping the child. We have been truly blessed.

Good place for my daughter to learn and has excellent in areas needed in the past year and the head Director Martin is a blessing in disguise, very helpful to my daughter and family in need and wish they made several of him and put him the school system along with Elizabeth.

Sylvan learning center of High Point is a great place to take your kids to get tutoring lessons outside of school. The staff is amazing and very professional. My son has attended the center for a few years now, and we can definitely see the improvement in his school work. The ongoing conference meetings are very beneficial and it allows you to track the monthly progress. Thanks to all the tutors and the staff for the excellent work you do.

We couldn’t be more happy with all of the help from Sylvan. It has made a tremendous difference. My son is super dyslexic in both letters and numbers so reading and all things academic have been a struggle and he got behind by a couple of grade levels and so when we started from now has been about six months and he was able to go from a sixth grade understanding to nearly at 9/10th grade understanding in as little as six months I know this won’t be the case for all students, however this was such an amazing gift, it really built his confidence he was able to achieve and grow quickly with the tools he was provided to master new skills!! I feel like he took on a more of a personal responsibility role in his learning, especially as he grew and built in his confidence it made all the difference and we are very grateful for this program and staff they have been amazing and very helpful and patient during the entire process, it has just been simply a fantastic experience will continue to use it !!!
