Our daughter has been going to Sylvan for 2 years now and she absolutely loves it. She has progressed so much with her reading and writing in short amount of time and now doing so much better in school. We absolutely appreciate what Ms. Deborah is doing with her. We also love the flexibility that Sylvan provides in term of focus areas and adjust the plan as needed. Our daughter misses Sylvan the days she does have a class and looks forward to learning from her teacher there.

We started going to Sylvan in Flower Mound when we moved to the area in August of this year. They have been working with our son to improve his sight words and his reading abilities in first grade since he had been homeschooled for kindergarten. It’s been helpful and worthwhile for his learning!

This place didn't teach my kid anything. For the price you pay, you think you should be getting private tutoring, but the tutor is working with three kids at once, which sharply limits the quality of education.

My daughter has been attending Sylvan in Flower Mound to work on her phonemes and other foundational skills needed for reading she struggled with as a result of a learning disability. By the end of her first week she came home so proud of herself because she was reading! Her teachers provide her with sight word books that when she finishes her session, she has gained familiarity with the words, so she can go home and read to others. This repetition and practice at home is key. She loves all the teachers and staff and leaves each time happy and proud of herself. I highly recommend the Sylvan in Flower Mound center as both a mom and teacher.

Our 11 year old son has attended Sylvan for a couple of months for writing and math. He is excited to attend his session and continues to talk highly of his experience. We’ve already noticed an improvement in his hand writing and while he was already ahead in math, he’s enjoying math even more with his summer program. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Sylvan for both helping your child catch up or accelerate their skills.

My son has always struggled with math, and due disruptions in education over the last 2 years fell behind even more. We wanted to help him get caught up before entering middle school. Sylvan did an assessment to see where he was at and calculated a specific number of hours (lessons) to get him to where he needed to be. I was pleasantly surprised that he reached his goal before the projected time, and that he is thriving. He has gained so much confidence in himself to be an independent thinker and worker, and this is paying off in his classroom at school where he is no longer behind. Sylvan gave my son the tools and skills he needs to feel and be successful. What more could a parent want?
