My son is 13 and for the first time ever he LOVED school. I feel like he is finally getting the quality education he needs. Sylvan meets him where he is academically, he isn't held back to stay with the class like a traditional brick and mortar school. The staff are amazing and kind. They fantastic about communication. I haven't waited days or had to send a follow up message to get a response. I appreciate Sylvan because for the first time, my son is THRIVING in school; academically, mentally and emotionally. Homework is minimal and they are understanding about it IF some gets sent home and my son can't complete it. For example, Wednesday afternoons are busy for him. He attends a therapy social group elsewhere from 3-5 and then we have church. There is no time for homework. There is no shame. No one is penalized. Field trips! They REGULARLY go on field trips. They go more often than when I was in school. They offer photography and stem classes. We are also thrilled with HOW they teach. It's a mix of the old ways and the new regarding technology. My son is not given a school issued computer and everything completed on that. He does have access to a computer at school for some work, not a lot, but he can't access other sites like YouTube or games. The student teacher ratio is very small so my son gets the attention and education he needs and deserves because there isn't 1 teacher to 30 students. We couldn't be happier. 10/10 recommend

I can't say enough wonderful things about this school and their staff. My son's have struggled with school since elementary school. This school has turned so much around for them. My oldest son has went from a 3rd grade reading level to a 7th grade level in 4 months. Their grades are all passing now. I'm so excited for my children and what Sylvan has helped them accomplish. Thanks Sylvan! Update: We are now in our second year with Sylvan Learning. My kids are so happy here. The improvements in their learning have been phenomenal. The staff makes them feel more like family than a student. I'm so proud of my boys and how much this school has turned things around for them. Thanks Sylvan.

My son attends the Sylvan Learning School in Rome, Georgia!!!! WE absolutely love the teachers....environment....learning plan and styles of teaching. My son was struggling with confidence and reading....since coming here last year...he has had has a huge ego/confidence boost....he takes control of his education and he has become more self sufficient!!! I am so grateful for this academy. My son actually loves getting up in the morning and I don't have to make him. When an educational system shows love and support to our children it makes a huge difference....they are not just a number they are students with purpose.

I highly recommend Sylvan of Cartersville. They helped my son immensely in preparing for the SAT. They guaranteed that he would increase his score by 100 points, but instead he increased 200 points! They are so helpful. They gave my son the self confidence he needed to tackle this test. Thank you Sylvan!

I love Sylvan of Cartersville. The teachers are very helpful and they care about each individual child. My daughter has been going there for a year now and her grades in Ela and writing has went from low B's to high A's. Now she is doing study skills and she has already learned so much. Sylvan Learning Center is an excellent opportunity for students to work towards academic achievement. Ms. Teems is the Director of the location and she is active and understanding in her desire to assist each and every individual...child and adult to reach their goals.
