Swan Mountain Resort in late October is too late for much viewing of yellow aspen leaves but late enough to view one of the earliest snows (2-3 inches). We loved the views from our second story unit and the shopping and restaurants at nearby Breckenridge (30 minutes). Skiing was not yet available, but we aren't skiers. Check-in was easy and the staff were polite and helpful. Our accommodations were mostly comfortable, well supplied, and well-maintained, though older. The clubhouse was well equipped and a hot tub is available. The fireplace and supply of wood was delightful to use. We slept well and would enjoy staying here again.

Rooms are bright and clean. Pool is warm, hot tub is hot. Small exercise room but never crowded. Everything is wonderful. Fully stocked kitchen but grocery store is about 5 miles away so you should plan on driving.

The location is very convenient to hiking, skiing, shopping, and dining. Units are large. Beds are comfortable. Kitchens are well appointed. Bathroom layout makes for easy access for everyone. Our 2 bedroom unit had 3 full bathrooms. Vanities in bedrooms are separate from toilet/shower/tub.
Views from third floor were partially obstructed. TV's are tiny, older, not smart. You aren't going there to watch TV, but should weather confine you to indoors, plan for activities other than TV.
The sofa is beyond uncomfortable.
So, there are negatives, but we would return. Friendly staff, quiet unit (there was a family with small children next door, whom we only ever heard when leaving or returning to their unit), blackout shades, comfy beds, hiking that starts from the property, covered parking, and more, make this Gold Crown for RCI.

Our 2 bedroom was amazing. Everything was there. The staff does a great job. The pool and hot tub were warm and very comfortable. The views are superb!

This is a nice older unit that has been well maintained. Furniture wasn't very comfortable & is dated. Would have been nice to have blackout curtains in the bedroom. Otherwise this was a nice well furnished unit. Most everything you need for cooking was provided. Would come back, but would bring own pillows, & something to hang up over the bedroom window so we could sleep pat sunrise.

Very nice 2 br unit, exceptionally clean - we were kind of between peak summer season in the area and of course ski season, very closed to Lake Dillon, less than 2 miles to Keystone plus easy driving distance to A-Basin, Breckinridge and Copper Mountain, Lots of great trails to hike nearby including one (Snake River Trail) just steps from unit that parallels Snake River and The River Course at Keystone Golf Course. Highly recommend.

We have been owners here for over 20 years. For many years we have asked them to upgrade the TV's to no avail. The TV service is extremely frustrating and not reliable. They need to switch to a dependable service such as Xfinity. The TV's are VERY OLD and all of them should have been replaced years ago. We are strongly considering not returning until this long-standing problem has been fixed.

Stayed for a week in June. Unit was very nice and clean. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen! Even had aluminum foil and some very handy Tupperware type containers. Resort is well cared for. Internet was sufficient, but had some spotty moments. Staff was wonderful. We had a 3rd floor unit and there are no elevators. We were having trouble adjusting to the elevation in Dillon so two lovely staff members carried our luggage upstairs for us. (You bet we tipped well!) Our unit had two bedrooms and three bathrooms so plenty of space! The second bedroom was up a spiral staircase. If you have mobility issues, it will be important to talk to the resort and know what type of unit you will be in. Truly recommend Swan Mountain!
