This public library is the worst with staff who own the place and they don't "allow" patrons to use the computers. The poor "director" emerged from darkness as well as the other African American employee there. Who has no class and behave like a dangerous beast and she talked badly about me with another patron right in front of me. No decency, no respect, no manners at all in the public library. They are just employees who get paid with our taxes. They should not "work" there.

I love my neighborhood library. The staff is always friendly, helpful, professional and informative 📚 Additionally, so many helpful services and important information is provided.

If you are a Senior and enjoy a good read and camaraderie, do check out the Senior Book Club. It meets on the first Thursday of each month. You don't have to read the book to have an enjoyable time 📚

I love reading my books and studying here, the staff is always polite and helpful. And the library is always kept clean, neat, and organized. They don't always have what I'm looking for, but I can always find just what I need.

I walked in, donated some DVDs and wanting some books and discovered that there was a "friends of the Library" program, I was very hopeful since the selection in all departments aren't recent. I had talked to someone in place of the whoever is involved. I didn't get any information on what a 'friend' is but would be told i would get a call the week after. I went on, unable to find the books I wanted. I then requested from the front desk and was told I would be called when they came in ( which would be a few days from then). I wasn't called for my books and I wasn't called to be a friend. I gave the books another week but ended up buying them instead.

I didn't know if it's a public place, why we needed to pay. I'm disappointed with it. I visited a lot of libraries across Illinois, and never I had a bad experience like in this place,

Attended multiple meetings there. Place is always clean and the ladies at the counter will greet me with smiles.
