Solid Biblical teaching, on fire worship and a community of believers to strengthen your spiritual walk. We have been members here for over 10 years and have grown so much over that time! We love the energy and passion from all the pastors and staff! We love to bring friends and family to our church, that says a lot!

Wonderful church and community of fellow believers!
Wide open arms that aren't afraid to speak the truth in love!
They talk about the hard matters in life and how God wants us to respond.
My wife and I were saved and baptized together years ago, and even though we moved away a piece of me is still there!

I go to get fed. The Summit Point leadership puts together a nice buffet.

Starter/appetizer:
Music worship is different than I grew up with, but after a few weeks one knows some songs. It's contemporary. They're seemingly passionate. I dont feel like I'm learning a new song every week, but sometimes.

Main course:
Senior pastor Tim Harkness is generally serving up meat and potatoes. Tim is very personable and speaks very relationally. He is knowledgeable, and I feel like he is bringing God's word, not his own. I've been to a lot of churches, and primarily go for the teaching. I feel like the gospel of Jesus Christ is presented well. Often I feel like I learned something, not just like I had an emotional experience or an encounter with God.

Dessert:
They wrap with a song and a concise summary/dismissal statement.

9/10 times I feel well-fed.
10/10 times I'm glad I went.

It's a pretty big church, and staffed with imperfect people like the rest of us. But I think they do a very good job overall in their mission. The facility is comfortable. Logistics are good for it's size. The service is not short or a ticket-puncher type.

It isn't the same as your old church, whatever that was, but I recommend giving Summit Point a few weeks' trial, if you're looking for a new home. My family and I are glad we did.

So, I can't say enough good things about my church. God is present in this place and you feel it. Tim Harkness is the senior pastor and he is fantastic. If you are looking for a church to call home then this is it. There is a reason that the 9:00 a.m. service that we attend has over 2000 people in it!.....and yes, our new name is SUMMIT POINT. Same location, same great people!!

Come visit Summit Point, where you can belong, pursue, and experience the Living God! The gospel is shared every week by a team of enthusiastic, God-pursuing pastors that are always pointing to the glory of God. Worship is contemporary in style and God-centric.
Service times are 9am, 11am, and 4:30pm.

The type of church Jesus warned people about. My husband and I were kicked out, because we don't regularly attend church there. Modern day temple and Pharisees.... politics and money is all they care about. We used to go there every Sunday and then something deep down told me something was really wrong with the church so we started attending another church and we were taking a class at Harvest and we were kicked out for not being regular members. I guess all my deep down feelings about the church were really true and their true colors are coming out as not being Christ centered Christ Focus reaching out. Read Matthew 23 if you really care.
